    Abstract: The disclosed technology includes a medical probe comprising a tubular shaft extending along a longitudinal axis and including a proximal end and a distal end. The medical probe further comprises an expandable basket assembly proximate the distal end of the tubular shaft. The basket assembly comprises a single unitary structure that includes a plurality of linear spines formed from a planar sheet of material and one or more electrodes coupled to each of the spines, each electrode defining a lumen through the electrode so that a spine extends through the lumen of each of the one or more electrodes. The spines converge at a central spine intersection at a distal end of the basket assembly. The central spine intersection includes one or more cutouts that allows for bending of the spines.     Abstract: A medical device control handle or catheter includes deflection assembly and at least one of the following: a disk actuator, a lever actuator and a ring actuator for actuating additional puller wires in manipulation of multiple features of the medical device or catheter independently of each other. The disk actuator has a common rotational axis with but is rotationally independent of the deflection assembly. The lever actuator has a separate rotational axis. The ring is mounted outside of the control handle and rotatable relative to the control handle to actuate another puller wire for manipulating another feature of the catheter. Each of the disk, lever and ring actuators are of a design that allows existing control handles and catheters to be readily modified to include these actuators.

The disposable portion includes an adhesive layer for adhering the electrode layer to a patient, on the electrode layer, and an engagement element for detachably receiving at least a portion of the housing of the reusable portion. The reusable portion includes a housing in which the biosensor has biosensor wires that exit the reusable portion. The housing is also adapted to carry and/or provide support to an ACL contact member responsive to the electrode layer of the disposable portion, and ACL wires that exit the reusable portion.

A puller wire is disposed in the tubular member and configured for movement along the longitudinal axis to bend the tip portion with respect to the longitudinal axis. An anchor is disposed within the tubular member and connected to the puller wire such that the anchor has a t-bar. The t-bar includes a generally transverse extension and a ferrule connected to the puller wire. The probe includes a fiber engaged to the generally transverse extension and extending distally into the probe to increase a strength of the anchor with respect to forces applied to the puller wire to deflect the tip of the medical probe.

The cross-over region can be bounded by an intermediate tube having four lumens and a distal tube having three lumens. The circular region can include structural features to facilitate contraction such as a support member having a preferable bending direction, polymer tubing segments positioned to inhibit bending stress on electrodes, navigation sensors positioned to inhibit bending stress on said sensors and electrodes, and a distal assembly at a distal end of the circular region.
