  • Publication number: 20130061266
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for electronic program guide (EPG) sorting and automatic realignment is provided. In example embodiments, a graphical user interface having an EPG including a plurality of rows of thumbnails representing programs is presented on a device of a user. Each row of thumbnails may be navigated independent of other rows. A navigational input is received via a touchscreen of the device. The navigational input indicates an action performed on the graphical user interface that triggers a realignment of programming information presented on the EPG. An updated EPG with the realignment of the programming information indicated by the navigational input is then provided.

  • Publication number: 20100283997
Abstract: The specification discloses test device, system, and method for optic fiber cable connections. A light-emitting element emits a light signal, and a light-receiving element receives the light signal. When no electrical signal is received within a predetermined time, the central processing unit generates a random delay time for the light-emitting element to wait for the random delay time before re-emitting the light signal for a connection test. The invention solves the problem of difficulty in locating wrong corrections of optic fiber cables. It can quickly check whether the optic fiber cables are correctly connected.

  • Patent number: 7557980
Abstract: An optical path switching device is provided. The optical path switching device utilizes the electro-optic effect to apply an electric field on different reflective elements without moving an input/output end of optical signal or reflective elements. Thus, the reflective elements reflect optical beams to control travel paths of the optical beams, so as to switch the optical paths in the absence of mechanical motion.

  • Publication number: 20090074366
Abstract: An optical fiber line arranging guide groove capable of sensing optical signals is provided, which is used for solving a problem that optical fiber lines are disordered and hard to be arranged due to an excessive large number of optical fiber lines existed, and further used for detecting the status of optical signals in the optical fiber line. Through an optical detection circuit and a display element, the connection status of optical signals for the optical fiber line in the optical fiber line arranging guide groove is determined.

  • Publication number: 20090022493
Abstract: A passive optical network (PON) equipment capable of displaying a connection state and a logical link identifier (LLID) is provided, which aims at solving a problem that equipments in the conventional PON system cannot display connection state and LLID. The PON equipment displays the connection state and the LLID through a programmable logic element and a display unit by utilizing characteristics of multi-point control protocol (MPCP) and LLID, so as to achieve the efficacy of displaying the connection state and the LLID.

  • Publication number: 20090016720
Abstract: A problem detection device at an optical network unit (ONU) end in a passive optical network (PON) system and a method thereof are provided, which aim at solving the problem that the user cannot check out photo-physical data on the physical architecture, logical signal information on the logical architecture, and parameter information on the network communication protocol of the PON system economically, quickly, and accurately, once a connection error occurs at the ONU end. The technical lies in using an optical network signal to pass through the integrated optical path analysis module, the ONU module, and the network communication protocol message analysis module included in the problem detection device to achieve the detection and analysis of the problem of the ONU connection error at one time once the problem detection device is connected to the PON system.

  • Patent number: 6774887
Abstract: A joystick 3 includes a circuit board 1, a thin film circuit 2 arranged on the circuit board 1, a joystick 3 on the thin film circuit 2, and a spacer 4 arranged between the thin film circuit 2 and the circuit board 1. By the joystick 3, the thin film circuit 2 is in contact with the circuit board 1 so that resistor are connected in parallel so as to reduce the resistance to control the direction and speed of the cursor precisely. As the rod 37 is pushed by an outer force, the pit 36 on the movable body 34 presses one of the joint points 12 and 22. Then, the joint points 12 and 22 will transfer a signal of the resistor, and thus, the movement of the control cursor can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 6642466
Abstract: An improved bridge structure for keyboards consists of a first linkage element and a second linkage element pivotally engaging with each other. The first linkage element and second linkage element have respectively a pivotal trough which have respectively a pivotal trough slant surface section on the bottom section, and an axle which have respectively an axle slant surface section on the bottom section. The two slant surface sections intersect to form a fulcrum. The fulcrums remain stationary at the center to serve as the circle center of movements such that moving tolerances are unchanged when the key cap is depressed downwards. And the movements are performed based on the stationary center points which support and transfer forces in sideward directions to reduce sideward inclination and shaking.

  • Patent number: 6550993
Abstract: An improved keyboard structure consists of a lower plate, a membrane circuit, an upper plate, a bridge means, an elastic element and a key cap. The lower plate has a set of symmetrical first latch sections and a set of retaining sections formed at selected locations corresponding to the first latch sections. The upper plate has a set of symmetrical second apertures corresponding to the first latch sections and a set of symmetrical second latch sections corresponding to the second apertures. There are openings in front of the second latch sections for housing the retaining sections. The bridge means has a first pivotal end insertable in a biased manner into a space formed between the second latch section and the retaining sections and a second pivotal end latching to the first latch sections such that the bridge means can be assembled on the upper plate and the lower plate in single direction.
