  • Publication number: 20220325239
Abstract: We describe a cell culture medium comprising a basal medium supplemented with a CDK1/2/9 inhibitor and a Bcr-Abl/Src kinase inhibitor. The CDK1/2/9 inhibitor may comprise AZD5438 and the Bcr-Abl/Src kinase inhibitor may comprise Dasatinib. The cell culture medium may be capable of maintaining or increasing pluripotency in a cell cultured in the cell culture medium in the absence of co-culture such as feeder cells. We describe the use of such a medium for feeder-free culture of a naïve pluripotent stem cell as well as re-programming of a primed pluripotent stem cell into a naïve pluripotent stem cell.

  • Patent number: 11443052
Abstract: A system is provided for controlling access to data stored in a cloud-based storage service. Data associated with a user account is stored at the cloud-based storage service. A first request to cause a portion of the data to be associated with a heightened authentication protocol is received. In response, the portion of the data is caused to require the heightened authentication protocol for access. A second request for a file that is stored in the area that is associated with the heightened authentication protocol is received. The second request is authenticated based on the heightened authentication protocol. In response to authenticating the second request, permission is granted to access the file. In response to a failure to authenticate the second request, access to the file is denied, while access to files stored in other areas associated with the user account is allowed.

  • Patent number: 11437903
Abstract: Described herein are latching devices where relative speed of movement between members is in part controlled or reduced via eddy current formation and in part controlled or relative motion stopped via a latch arrangement. Various embodiments are described, one being use of a conductive member; at least one magnetic field and a latch member that, prior to latching, moves independently to the at least one conductive member. A kinematic relationship exists between the conductive member and at least one magnetic field that enables the conductive member to move at a different speed relative to the magnetic field on application of an energizing force, thereby inducing an eddy current drag force by relative movement of the conductive member in the magnetic field. The eddy current drag force resulting causes movement of the conductive member causing the conductive member to engage the latch member thereby halting movement between the at least one conductive member and the at least one latch member.

  • Publication number: 20220265372
Abstract: In a system and method conveying suture force information in surgery, real times images of a surgical site are captured and displayed on a display. A suture is engaged using at least one surgical instrument, which in some cases is a robotic surgical instrument. The system determines a tension in the suture using force data obtained from force sensors associated with the instrument or a robotic manipulator used to manipulate the instrument, or using computer vision techniques applied to the captured images. An overlay is generated and displayed on the display depicting the determined tension.

  • Publication number: 20220265371
Abstract: In a system and method for determining guide points or a guide path for display on an endoscopic display, image data corresponding to a surgical treatment site is captured using a camera. Using the image data, the positions of one or more reference points within the surgical environment, are determined. Based on the positions of the reference points, the positions of guide points spaced from the reference point are estimated or determined, in some cases using predetermined offsets. The guide points or guide path is displayed as an overlay of the image data on an image display. In an embodiment using the system for a sleeve gastrectomy procedure, the reference points are input by a user or determined by the system with reference to a bougie that has been positioned within a stomach at the operative site, and the guide path is used as a guide for stapling and resection to form the sleeve.

A portion of the data is associated with a heightened authentication protocol. A request for an application to receive data that is associated with the heightened authentication protocol is received at the cloud-based storage service. In response to the request, the request is authenticated based on the heightened authentication protocol. In response to authenticating the request, permission is granted for the application to receive the data that is associated with the heightened authentication protocol. In response to a locking of the data that is associated with the heightened authentication protocol, an indication that the data is unavailable is sent to the application.

  • Publication number: 20220239549
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for time series trend root cause identification are provided. In particular, an overall trend of multi-dimensional time series data and element trends for measured elements of dimensions within the multi-dimensional time series data is identified. Weighted correlations between the element trends of the measured elements and the overall trend are calculated. • Patent number: 11372630
Abstract: Efficient immutable syntax representation with parent pointers under incremental change is enabled by creating a data structure comprising at least one tree structure that allows both upward and downward references in the tree and a tree structure that is immutable (read-only), and allows parts of itself to be re-used in other data structures. The data structure described enables tools to search and target particular sub trees. The fragment of the tree representing the targeted sub tree is produced as it is used. The rest of the tree is not produced. The read-only tree retains relative information, allowing it to be reassembled and shared.
