  • Patent number: 9529875
Abstract: A system for transforming time series data into data that is accessible by a data warehouse identifies a data table comprising the time series data. The system creates a virtual view of the data table where the time series data is represented as at least one standard relational table in the virtual view, where the virtual view is presented as a virtual table. The system partitions the virtual table into a plurality of virtual partitions according to a time interval. The virtual table is partitioned across a data time range, where the data time range comprises at least one time interval, and where each of the plurality of virtual partitions has a respective partition time range that spans the time interval. The virtual partitions are created to optimize loading of the data into the data warehouse by incrementally refreshing the data according to the respective partition time range.

  • Patent number: 9486647
Abstract: In various embodiments, a system for controlling radiotherapy equipment in a treatment environment includes a controller for receiving, from one or more image capture devices, data indicating the position of one or more objects in the treatment environment. Based on the position data, the controller defines one or more exclusionary zones from which the radiotherapy equipment is excluded. Each zone has a buffer area surrounding one or more of the objects. The controller further directs the radiotherapy equipment such that a radiotherapy treatment plan is delivered without the equipment entering into the exclusionary zones.

  • Patent number: 9449497
Abstract: An alarm system monitors a home, business, or other property for fire, burglary, break-in, or other event that may warrant raising an alarm. The alarm system is configured to detect tampering, whereby someone intentionally impedes the ability of the system to raise an alarm or otherwise interferes the system's operation. An alarm panel of the alarm system communicates with a server. At certain times, the alarm system transmits a series of packets to the server using a unidirectional protocol. Upon receipt of one of the packets, the server alternates between monitoring for an incoming packet and ignoring any incoming packets. Detection of an incoming packet during a monitoring time period causes the server to transition to ignoring packets for a sleep period of time. Completion of the sleep period of time causes the server to return to monitoring for the monitoring period of time.

  • Publication number: 20160230809
Abstract: An axial bearing assembly is provided having first and second axial end washers with axial flanges. An intermediate washer is provided with first and second axial retention flanges extending opposite radial ends. The first axial retention flange extends toward the first axial end washer on the other radial side from the first axial flange, and the second axial retention flange extends toward the second axial end washer on the other radial side from the second axial flange to define an S-shaped cross-section. Roller assemblies including rolling elements retained in cages are located between the first and second bearing inner races and outer races, respectively. Retention tabs are formed in the first and second axial retention flanges that engage over a part of the first cage and over a part of the second cage, respectively, to retain the first and second bearing roller assemblies to the intermediate washer.

  • Patent number: 9369231
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product to adjust transfer rates on conductors in a multi-conductor cable comprising monitoring signals received on each conductor, determining a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) for each conductor and adjusting a transfer rate on one or more conductors based on the corresponding SNR. In an embodiment the multi-conductor cable is a twisted pair Ethernet cable. The method further comprises determining whether a conductor is transmitting at an optimal transfer rate as a function of its SNR, calculating an optimal transfer rate for each conductor as a function of its SNR and periodically measuring a change in SNR on each conductor. If the change in SNR is greater than a predetermined threshold, then the transfer rate is re-calculated for the conductors requiring transfer rate adjustment as a function of SNR.

  • Patent number: 9336612
Abstract: A method for processing one or more reconstructed images includes receiving a first reconstructed image having a first image resolution and receiving a second reconstructed image having a second image resolution. The first resolution is greater than the second resolution. The method further includes generating a contrast-dependent resolution image by combining the first and second reconstructed images single image so that the first reconstructed image contributes to a greater degree to the contrast-dependent resolution image for higher contrasts regions of the images and the second reconstructed image contributes to a greater degree to the contrast-dependent resolution image for lower contrasts regions of the images.

  • Publication number: 20160125003
Abstract: An index server may be configured to collect content associated with an entity, and process the content for indexing at a primary index queue. At least one portion of the content may be marked for exclusion from the primary index queue, and the marked content may be transferred to a secondary index queue to be processed for indexing. A comprehensive index may be stored based on the processing performed at the primary and secondary index queues such that the content associated with the entity is wholly represented by indexed content. If the secondary index queue is disabled, automatically or in response to a request from the entity, the content processed for indexing at the primary index queue may be stored in an index excluding the marked content. In some examples, the comprehensive index and/or the index with excluded marked content may be provided to a compliance server for analysis.

  • Publication number: 20160061951
Abstract: Sonar rendering systems and methods are described herein. One example is an apparatus that includes a transducer element, position sensing circuitry, processing circuitry, and a display device. The processing circuitry may be configured to receive raw sonar data and positioning data, convert the raw sonar data into range cell data based at least on amplitudes of the return echoes, make a location-based association between the raw sonar data and the positioning data, plot the range cell data based on respective positions derived from the positioning data and rotate the range cell data based on a direction of movement of the watercraft to generate adjusted range cell data. The processing circuitry may be further configured to convert the adjusted range cell data into sonar image data, and cause the display device to render the sonar image data with a presentation of a geographic map.

  • Patent number: 9271684
Abstract: An apparatus has a patient support, a rotatable gantry supporting a source of imaging radiation, and a radiation detector that operates in a cyclical pattern of an exposure phase followed by a readout phase. For a first detector cycle in which the gantry has a first angle of rotation, the source of radiation is controlled to emit a first radiation beam pulse during the exposure phase, and respective first imaging data is read out during the readout phase. For a second, subsequent detector cycle, it is determined if the gantry has rotated through at least a threshold angular displacement relative to said first angle of rotation, and if so, the source of radiation is controlled to emit a second radiation beam pulse during the exposure phase, and respective second imaging data is read out during the readout phase.

  • Publication number: 20160018515
Abstract: A marine sonar display device comprises a display, a sonar element, a memory element, and a processing element. The display presents sonar images. The sonar element generates a sonar beam and presents transducer signals. The processing element is in communication with the display, the sonar element, and the memory element and receives the transducer signals, calculates sonar data from the transducer signals and generates a three-dimensional view of a portion of the body of water, wherein the view includes a plurality of sonar images. Each sonar image is generated from sonar data derived from a previously-generated sonar beam and includes representations of underwater objects and a water bed. The processing element also generates a cursor plane and a cursor positioned thereon, both of which appear on the three-dimensional view. The processing element further controls the display to present the three-dimensional view, the sonar images, the cursor plane, and the cursor.
