  • Publication number: 20120208478
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a radio frequency (RF) signal source; and a controller configured to adjust power of the RF signal source based on a detected parameter. In one embodiment, the apparatus further comprises a proximity sensor configured to determine proximity of the RF signal source to live tissue, and the detected parameter is the proximity determined by the proximity sensor. The RF signal source may be an RF antenna. The controller may be configured to reduce the power of the RF signal source when the proximity is less than a predetermined threshold value. The controller may be configured to reduce the power to a predetermined reduced power level.

  • Patent number: 8009441
Abstract: An electronic component cover comprises a plate having a first region adapted to substantially cover at least one side of a first electronic component. The plate is adapted to accommodate a second electronic component thereon, such as a SIM card or a SIM card reader. The plate may include a second region to accommodate the second electronic component therein. The electronic component cover may comprise one or more leads adapted to provide electrical communication between the first electronic component and the second electronic component. The one or more leads are electrically isolated from the plate. The cover may further comprise a nonconductive mount adapted to accommodate the second electronic component thereon. The nonconductive mount secures the one or more leads to the plate while electrically isolating the one or more leads from the plate.

  • Publication number: 20060064247
Abstract: Provided herein is a method and computer program product for designing and/or simulating a biotechnology experiment in silico; and for providing and generating revenue from a customized list of one or more biotechnology products and/or services related to the in silico designed or simulated biotechnology experiment or the product of that experiment. In illustrative examples, the products and or services are indirectly related to a biomolecule designed by the in silico designed biotechnology experiment. In addition, provided herein is a method and computer system for generating revenue, that includes providing a customer with a first computer program product for designing or performing a biotechnology experiment in silico; and providing the customer with access to a purchase function for purchasing a second computer program product for designing or performing a biotechnology experiment in silico.
