  • Publication number: 20080038994
Abstract: A method for processing semiconductor wafers is disclosed. A solution is applied to a semiconductor wafer to prevent dendrites and electrolytic reactions at the surface of metal interconnects. The solution can be applied during a CMP process or during a post CMP cleaning process. The solution may include a surfactant and a corrosion inhibitor. In one embodiment, the concentration of the surfactant in the solution is less than approximately one percent by weight and the concentration of the corrosion inhibitor in the solution is less than approximately one percent by weight. The solution may also include a solvent and a cosolvent. In an alternate embodiment, the solution includes a solvent and a cosolvent without the surfactant and corrosion inhibitor. In one embodiment, the CMP process and post CMP cleaning process can be performed in the presence of light having a wavelength of less than approximately one micron.

  • Publication number: 20070270854
Abstract: A bone anchoring device for securing suture or cable within a bone hole of a bone includes an anchor member and a cable. The anchor member includes engagement ribs and an axial cutout. The axial cutout further includes a cutout surface and at least one pin that extends radially outward from the cutout surface. The cable is secured to the anchor member by penetrating the cable with the pins that extend radially from the axial cutout surface, such that the cable distal end aligns with the anchor distal end and that the cable proximal end extends beyond the anchor proximal end. This results in a bone anchoring device in which failure due to low pullout strength of the cable is greatly minimized or eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20070240467
Abstract: A Removable Thumb Turn Attachment is disclosed. The device and system incorporate a thumb turn cap that is attachable to the head of a conventional deadbolt key. The system may include a retaining cap assembly that is installable over a conventional deadbolt lockset. The retaining cap assembly cooperates with the thumb turn cap so that the thumb turn cap will engage the retaining cap assembly so that the thumb turn cap, once inserted, cannot be readily removed from the retaining cap assembly. The thumb turn cap and retaining cap are installable on a conventional key-operated deadbolt lockset so that the lockset is converted to operate as a thumb-turn-operated deadbolt lockset.

  • Patent number: 6918140
Abstract: A multi-layer protective fabric includes an inner layer, an middle layer, and an outer wicking layer. The outer fabric layer includes an inside layer of hydrophobic material, an outside layer of hydrophilic material, and an intermediate layer of hydrophobic monofilament yarns extending between and knitted together with the outside and inside layers, and promotes wicking of moisture from a wearer's skin to the outer layer. The multi-layer protective fabric middle layer includes a porous, cushioning material. The multi-layer protective fabric inner layer includes a cushioning, abrasion-resistant material, such as doeskin. Articles of apparel, for example cycling shorts, can include such a multi-layer protective fabric either alone or in combination with other moisture-managing, cushioning fabrics. Such protective fabric and apparel systems provide improved removal of moisture from skin, reduction of contact stress, and decrease in abrasion.
