  • Publication number: 20130295077
Abstract: Among other things, the present invention provides methods and compositions of treating Sanfilippo syndrome type B (Sanfilippo B) by, e.g., intrathecal (IT) administration of a Naglu protein. A suitable Naglu protein can be a recombinant, gene-activated or natural protein. In some embodiments, a suitable Naglu protein is a recombinant Naglu protein. In some embodiments, a recombinant Naglu protein is a fusion protein containing a Naglu domain and a lysosomal targeting moiety. In some embodiments, the lysosomal targeting domain is an IGF-II moiety.

  • Publication number: 20130053149
Abstract: In a method of notifying a user of an option to participate in a meta game, a presence of a player of a computer-implemented game at a location is detected. An association between a computer-implemented meta-game and the location is identified. The player of the computer-implemented game is presented with an option to participate in the computer-implemented meta-game. An indication of an acceptance of the option to participate in the computer-implemented meta game is received from the player of the computer-implemented game. A performance of an action within the computer-implemented game by the player of the computer-implemented game is reflected within the computer-implemented meta game.

  • Publication number: 20120309540
Abstract: Systems and methods to provide game notifications are described. In some embodiments, a method receives an identifier for a player of a first multiplayer game and obtains multiple notifications using the identifier for the player. The multiple notifications are associated with at least one other multiplayer game. The method further determines a display order for displaying the plurality of notifications in a user interface for the first multiplayer game. The multiple notifications are transmitted to a device associated with the player in the display order and displayed in the user interface for the first multiplayer game in the display order.

  • Publication number: 20120302337
Abstract: An online game mechanic matches requests and responses of different data types that include text, image and audio. Request values corresponding to a first data type are sent to users in a distribution list, and those users send response values corresponding to a second data type. Winning response values are selected and announced. In an example embodiment, the request values include a text description that includes at least one word, and the response values include an image file or a reference to an image file.

  • Publication number: 20120252559
Abstract: An advertisement is associated with a particular user move in a gaming environment where playing of the user move by a user results in the advertisement being displayed at the user's gaming device. With multiple users, each play of a unique user move results in a corresponding uniquely targeted advertisement being displayed at the respective gaming device of each user. User moves and associated advertisements are bound to one another based on a frequency of use of the user move in game play and the desirability of the advertiser to associate the advertisement with the user move.

  • Publication number: 20080024365
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for locating a transmitter. The apparatus comprises an antenna, a receiver and a memory adapted to store the plurality signals received by the receiver and antenna. The plurality of signals represents a plurality of data points relating to the position of the transmitter as measured at a plurality of unique locations. The location of the transmitter is calculated using the plurality data points. The plurality of data points may represent a measured frequency of a signal transmitted by the transmitter a direction of the transmitter or any other type of data. The method may comprise utilizing the Doppler shift rate of change of an assumed transmitted frequency to calculate a conical surface. The calculated intersection of a plurality of conical surfaces to defines the location of the transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20040180322
Abstract: Permeability models and methods for creating the models are disclosed. The models include receiving as an input in vitro permeability and structure data for a particular compound. Then the data is mapped to at least one permeability. In some models the data is mapped to a plurality of permeabilities, each associated with a specific region in a mammalian GI tract. • Publication number: 20040039530
Abstract: A system for simulating metabolism of a compound in a mammal is disclosed that includes a metabolism simulation model of a mammalian liver. This model has equations which, when executed on a computer, calculate the rate of metabolism of the compound in the cells of the mammalian liver and a rate of transport of the compound into the cells, wherein the simulation model determines an amount of the metabolism product. The rate of metabolism may be a rate of depletion of the compound. The metabolism product may be an amount of the compound remaining after the compound's first passage through the mammalian liver (This is not necessarily limited to first pass, nor would it need to be limited to the liver. Intestinal metabolism could also be modeled). The rate of metabolism may alternatively be a rate of accumulation of a metabolite of the compound.

Abstract: A method for developing a predictive model of a chemical compound property. The method includes obtaining at least one descriptor from structural data for each of a plurality of compounds. At least one chemical compound property is obtained for each of the plurality of compounds. The predictive model is developed by mapping the at least one descriptor to the chemical compound property.
