  • Patent number: 11331002
Abstract: A system and method for collecting operation data associated with a medical apparatus including an internal device implanted in a subject and an external device that is magnetically-coupled to and drives the internal device. The medical apparatus may be monitored to obtain raw data associated with the operation of the medical apparatus and one or more calculations may be performed on the raw data, wherein the raw data and/or calculated values may be associated with voiding frequency and voiding volume of the subject. A report may be generated from the raw data and/or calculated values. In addition, one or more signals may be sent to the external device and/or a docking station, or communicated by other means, to indicate to the subject that the operation of the medical apparatus should be altered.

  • Patent number: 8067052
Abstract: The present invention relates to a combination of a hermetically sealed, substantially air-tight container and a nutritional composition. The container of the present invention is adapted for the convenient transport, and storage of a single daily oral dose of a nutritional composition containing a fatty acid, for example, diacyl glycerol, an octadecatrienoic acid, an octadecadienoic acid, linolenic acid, linoleic acid, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) or a combination thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the present invention relates to the use of the c9, t11 and t10, c12 isomers of CLA in a nutritional composition. The wide range of health benefits associated with consumption of these CLA fatty acids is well known. Furthermore, the invention relates to a container that substantially prevents CLA lipid oxidation caused by exposure to air.

  • Publication number: 20030189658
Abstract: A single-chip digital camera system is described. In one embodiment, the single-chip digital camera system includes a sensor array including rows and columns of discrete sensor elements, corresponding analog-to-digital converters to convert analog values into digital data, a storage element coupled to the analog-to-digital converters, to store the digital data, and a plurality of arithmetic logic units coupled to the storage element, to operate on the digital data. The digital camera system also includes a switching matrix which is coupled between the array of analog-to-digital converters and the memory element. The switching matrix spatially rotates the analog-to-digital converter outputs for storing such outputs in the memory element.
