Publication number: 20240070393Abstract: An online concierge system generates suggested instructions for presentation to a user. The online concierge system access instruction examples corresponding to a target item category and generates candidate instruction representations based on instruction messages within each instruction example. The online concierge system generates preliminary scores for the candidate instruction representations that are directly related to an intra-category frequency of use of the instruction tokens of the candidate instruction representation within the target item category. The online system normalizes these preliminary scores for the candidate instruction representations based on the inter-category frequency of use of the instruction tokens in all item categories to generate final scores for the candidate instruction representations. The online concierge system selects a set of instruction representations based on these final scores and generates suggested instructions based on the set of instruction representations.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 24, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Shishir Kumar Prasad, Cameron Nicholas Taylor, John Salaveria, Joey Loi, Kevin McCullough

Publication number: 20240024673Abstract: Neuromodulation devices and methods of their use are described in which a therapeutic device is configured to generate a treatment for treating pain such as the reduction of the symptoms of chronic and acute pain as well as for treating other conditions. The neuromodulation device generates an output electrical signal in the form of pulses with a fast rise-time spike waveform followed by a longer-duration, lower amplitude primary phase waveform. The output signal includes a broad range of frequency components, with time constants tuned so as to interact with specific cell membrane or cellular components. The output signal may be conducted to the patient via electrodes. The pulses are triggered at variable intervals which prevent habituation.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Alexander B. Izvorski, Shaun Rahimi, Kevin McCullough

Publication number: 20160104125Abstract: A method, computing system and computer program product provide additional information relating to maintenance actions to address an issue with a structure. For each maintenance action that has corrected an issue, a first group of structures in which the issue has reoccurred and a second group of structures in which the issue has not reoccurred are identified. The method then determines an actual correction duration value for each of the structures in the first and second groups, generates a correction duration estimate for the structures in the first group using the actual correction duration values and uses the correction duration estimate to identify a portion of the structures in the second group. The method also uses the actual correction duration values calculated for the first group and the identified portion of the second group to generate a fix duration estimate representing an overall time estimation for issue reoccurrence.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2014Publication date: April 14, 2016Inventors: Steven David Chapman, Peter Lake, Jay Kevin McCullough

Patent number: 8997676Abstract: A trim vane assembly for amphibious armored vehicles and having a trim vane movable along a generally horizontal path between a deployed position in which the trim vane extends rearward from the vehicle and a stowed position in which the trim vane is positioned beneath the amphibious vehicle. In the retracted position, the trim vane movable is flush against or received within the vehicle bottom such that the trim vane supplements the belly armor. Similarly, the trim vane extends from or overlaps with the bottom of the vehicle when extended into the deployed position to provide continuous bottom face of the vehicle extending from the front of the vehicle to the end of the trim vane. Conventional trim vanes are rotated between a vertical orientation against the rear of the vehicle and a horizontal position extending from the rear of the vehicle reducing viscous drag.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2013Date of Patent: April 7, 2015Assignee: BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P.Inventors: Peter C.
