  • Patent number: 12281626
Abstract: A linear electric machine includes a shaft and at least one piston assembly operably coupled with the shaft. The piston assembly includes a piston, a piston body, and an expansion chamber. The piston body defines a dome structure at the expansion chamber. The piston is a domed piston corresponding to the dome structure. The linear electric machine also includes a heater body positioned at an outer end of the expansion chamber adjacent to the dome structure. The piston body further defines an exterior surface corresponding to a shape of the dome structure. The exterior surface includes a plurality of surface features protruding therefrom and is arranged between the heater body and the dome structure. The plurality of surface features decrease a heat load across the exterior surface of the piston body.

  • Publication number: 20250124579
Abstract: An image may be received from a sensor associated with a capture area. Background elements associated with the capture area may be removed and a cleaned image generated. Objects may then be detected in this cleaned image. A spatial partition model may be generated to understand z-index and partially obscured areas while preserving relative object sizes. This model may be used to determine and remove foreground elements that may obstruct objects of interest. Object detection may be performed again on the further cleaned image. Detected objects may be filtered based on predefined criteria for different object classes.

  • Publication number: 20250124713
Abstract: An adaptive object recognition system utilizes relevance-based weighting and scoring that may assist with accuracy and stability. The system receives multiple recognition results for objects across video frames. Weights are assigned to results based on their stability over frames and the relevance scoring of neighboring areas. This allows more confidence to be placed in consistent detections and clearer image regions. The system decouples high and low accuracy areas to apply appropriate thresholding. Temporal analysis is used to favor frequently detected objects. Weighted results are combined to generate final recognitions that are more robust to non-uniform image quality and noise.

  • Patent number: 12263643
Abstract: A method includes flowing gas within a chamber for first process parameters at a predetermined point in a laser focal plane and simulating the step of flowing gas within the chamber based on the value of the flow characteristic of the gas at the predetermined point in the laser focal plane so that a value of a simulated-flow characteristic of the gas at a predetermined point away from the laser focal plane is identified. The method comprises comparing the value of the simulated-flow characteristic of gas at the predetermined point away from the laser focal plane to a desired value of the simulated-flow characteristic and flowing gas within the chamber for second differing process parameters, when the value of the simulated-flow characteristic of the gas at the predetermined point away from the laser focal plane differs from the desired value of the simulated-flow characteristic is outside a predetermined range.

  • Publication number: 20250070490
Abstract: Described herein are circuit assemblies comprising flexible interconnect circuits and/or other components connected to these circuits. In some examples, conductive elements of different circuits are connected with support structures, such as rivets. Furthermore, conductive elements of the same circuit can be interconnected. In some examples, a conductive element of a circuit is connected to a printed circuit board (or other devices) using a conductor joining structure. Interconnecting different circuits involves stacking these circuits such that the conductive element in one circuit overlaps with the conductive element in another circuit. A support structure protrudes through both conductive elements and any other components positioned in between, such as dielectric and/or adhesive layers. This structure electrically connects the conductive elements and also compresses the conductive elements toward each other. For example, a rivet is used with the rivet heads contacting one or two conductive elements, e.g.
