Abstract: A system and method for automatic quality control is provided. A database is maintained storing quality control rules for producing a product, the quality control rules determined via a first computing device associated with a first entity controlling production of the product, the database maintained by a second computing device associated with a second entity for maintaining quality control of the product, the product produced by a plurality of production lines respectively associated with third entities. Quality control data is received at the second computing device from data collection devices at the plurality of production lines, each of the data collection devices enabled to collect the quality control data for the product. At the second computing device, the quality control data is compared with the quality control rules; at least one quality control event is triggered when the quality control data fails at least one of the quality control rules.

Abstract: A bicycle seat post assembly includes a seat post that has a barrel, a cradle assembly, and a tilt mechanism. The cradle assembly is received in the barrel to secure a saddle to the seat post. The tilt mechanism is received in the barrel for setting saddle tilt. The tilt mechanism has at least one expander configured to at least expand. The expander is positioned in the barrel to exert a torque on the cradle assembly during expansion that causes the cradle assembly to rotate.

Abstract: According to embodiments described in the specification, a method, system and apparatus for code and expiry date generation are provided. The method comprises receiving a request to generate a code at the processor; automatically selecting one of a plurality of code generation rules from the memory based on an item identifier derived from the request, the selected rule including one or more code fragment definitions; retrieving data from at least one reference table stored in the memory, based on the code fragment definitions; generating the one or more code fragments according to the selected rule using the retrieved data; and concatenating the generated code fragments to generate the code.

Abstract: Described herein is woven geotextile formed of a plain six-pick weave fabric having an apparent opening size (AOS) of at least 40 as measured in accordance with ASTM International Standard D4751, a water flow rate of at least 35 gpm/ft2 as measured in accordance with ASTM International Standard D4491, a 12% strain at a tensile load of at least 300 lb/in as measured in accordance with ASTM International Standard D4595 in the warp direction, and a 12% strain at a tensile load of at least 270 lb/in in accordance with ASTM International D4595 at 270 lb/in in the fill direction. Also described herein is a reinforced civil structure having a subgrade formed at least partially of soil; a base course; and a woven geotextile disposed between the subgrade and the base course.

Abstract: Air cleaner assemblies and components therefor are described. An example first or main filter cartridge is described which includes a media pack comprising strips of fluted material secured to facing sheets, oriented in a stack. The media pack defines opposite inlet and outlet flow faces, with flutes extending in a direction therebetween. The media pack is non-removably secured within a filter cartridge housing, at a location between opposite sections of a shell, typically secured thereto with an adhesive. The shell also defines a closed end, spaced from, but in overlap with, the outlet end face of the media pack. The closed end is typically curved and the shell typically provides either a d/b-shape or a u-shape. The filter includes an end member, with a outlet flow aperture arrangement therein, allowing for outlet flow from the filter cartridge in a general direction orthogonal to air flow through the media pack.

A variety of configurations for the media pack are described and shown, an example shown being trapezoidal. Abstract: A filter cartridge arrangement is provided which includes a media pack comprising Z-filter media, a preform and a housing seal member. Improvements in the preform and seal member are described which include: a single beveled surface of the seal member to facilitate installation; and, an inside region of the seal member having a tip adjacent in inwardly directed lip of the preform, to control flash during molding. A variety of media pack configurations and features are described.

Abstract: An air filter arrangement is disclosed. The air filter arrangement includes strips of media comprising fluted sheets secured to facing sheets and forming inlet and outlet flutes secured to one another in a stack. Media pack arrangements including such stacked media with peripheral, perimeter, housing seal arrangements are described. Also described are air cleaners including the filter cartridges. Methods of assembly and use are also provided. Also, systems of use are described.

Abstract: A one aspect method of forming filter cartridge arrangements for use in air cleaners is provided. The method involves coiling a media pack with a central winding bead and cutting through the winding bead in the coiled media pack to form two media packs. An example filter arrangement is disclosed. In another aspect, a filter cartridge arrangement for use in air cleaners is provided. The filter cartridge arrangement includes a media pack including a plurality of inlet flutes and outlet flutes extending between first and second opposite flow faces and formed from an arrangement of facing sheet secured to corrugated sheet. An example cartridge includes a preform secured to the media pack. In some forms, the preform includes a grid arrangement extending across one of the flow faces. The grid arrangement can include a region of cured seal material positioned in contact with the first flow face, to secure the grid arrangement to the flow face.

Abstract: A bicycle seat post assembly includes a seat post that has a barrel, a cradle assembly, and a tilt mechanism. Abstract: A single facer media is provided according to the invention. The single facer media includes a fluted sheet attached to a facing sheet and having a first end and a second end so that when the single facer media is formed into a media pack, the first end or the second end forms a media pack first face, and the other of the first end or the second end forms a media pack second face. Adhesive is provided between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet at the first end or the second end, and wherein the fluted sheet and the facing sheet are pushed together and adhered together at the location of the adhesive to provide a seal between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet. At least 25% of the flutes of the fluted sheet comprise at least one ridge extending along at least 50% of the flute length between adjacent peaks. Filtration media packs, filter elements, and methods for forming a single facer media are provided.

Abstract: The present invention relates to novel systems and methods for manufacturing estimation, production assembly and inventory management. In an embodiment, a system is provided to create and respond to RFPs, perform capacity planning for an eventual production line, efficiently implement the production line in software, and track detailed warehouse data, including transaction data. Such tracking may allow process improvement, report generation, and market research analysis. In an embodiment, one or more systems may be used to implement one or more aspects of the present invention.

A warp yarn interweaves the first and second weft yarns and the stuffer pick. The first weft yarn and the second weft yarn having different cross-sectional shapes. At least a portion of the fabric has a plurality of weft yarn sets with stuffer picks respectively disposed and woven between the weft yarn sets. Each weft yarn set has two first weft yarns and two second weft yarns. One of the two first weft yarns is adjacent one of the two second weft yarns and stacked on the other second weft yarn. The adjacent second weft yarn is stacked on the other first weft yarn.
