Abstract: A template for controlling application of material around a protuberance is disclosed. The protuberance extends from a workpiece and has a base. The template comprises a first portion and a second portion, removably attached to the first portion at a boundary. The first portion comprises a first-portion inner peripheral edge that at least partially defines a positioning opening and that is geometrically complementary to at least a portion of the base of the protuberance. The first portion also comprises a first-portion workpiece-facing surface that is adhesive-free. The second portion comprises a visual material-placement indicator, located on a second-portion environment-facing surface. The second portion also comprises an adhesive layer, located on at least a portion of a second-portion workpiece-facing surface.

Abstract: In one embodiment, storage drive dependent track removal processing logic performs destage tasks for tracks cached in a cache as a function of whether the storage drive is classified as a fast class or as slow class of storage drives, for example. In one embodiment, a destage task configured for a slow class storage drive, transfers an entry for a track selected for destaging from a main cache list to a wait cache list to await destaging to the slow class drive. A destage task configured for a fast class storage drive allows the cache list entry for the selected track to remain on the main cache list while the selected track is being destaged to the fast class storage drive, thereby bypassing the transfer of the entry to a wait cache list. Other features and aspects may be realized, depending upon the particular application.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods are provided for treating pulmonary tissues via delivery of energy, generally characterized by high voltage pulses, to target tissue using a pulmonary tissue modification system (e.g., an energy delivery catheter system). Example pulmonary tissues include, without limitation, the epithelium (the goblet cells, ciliated pseudostratified columnar epithelial cells, and basal cells), lamina propria, submucosa, submucosal glands, basement membrane, smooth muscle, cartilage, nerves, pathogens resident near or within the tissue, or a combination of any of these. Abstract: A covering for a vertically-suspended architectural-structure covering is disclosed. The covering is formed from a plurality of assembled vanes suspended from a headrail assembly. Each assembled vane may be made via a strip process. Each vane including a strip of material (e.g., translucent fabric), and at least one slat (e.g., arcuate opaque material) coupled to the strip of material. For example, in one embodiment, the vanes may include first and second slats coupled to an intermediate strip of material on either side of the intermediate strip of material along the vertically extending side portions thereof, respectively. The processors implement a plurality of agents that each monitor sensed values, and generate operating scenarios based on the sensed values for corresponding resources. The processors also implement a coordinator that filters the operating scenarios to remove the operating scenarios that violate internal laws of the agents to form an aggregate validated set of operating scenarios. The processors further implement a supervisor that, responsive to receipt of target conditions for the zones and the aggregate validated set of operating scenarios from the coordinator, selects a combination of the operating scenarios from the aggregate validated set of operating scenarios that achieves target conditions and minimizes overall energy consumption by the resources such that some of the operating scenarios of the combination do not minimize energy consumption of the resources corresponding to the some of the operating scenarios.

Abstract: A first server controls insertion of media content into a media stream, and transmits the media stream from the first server to a media player. The first server also transmits, to a second server, information linking a particular consumer to both a third-party service and to the media player. Control of inserting media content into the media stream is passed from the first server to the second server. The second server receives consumer-specific content associated with the particular consumer from the third-party service, and maps the consumer-specific content to the media player based, at least in part, on the information linking the particular consumer to both the third-party service and to the media player. The second server then inserts the consumer-specific content into the media stream during a time period the second server is in control of inserting media content into the media stream.

A manufacturing system may deposit a thermal barrier material, followed by a first layer of a first conductive material, on a layered assembly including a patterned layer of electrode materials and a patterned layer of a memory material. The manufacturing system may etch a first area of the layered assembly to form a gap in the first layer of the first conductive material, the thermal barrier material, the patterned layer of the memory material, and the patterned layer of electrode materials. The manufacturing system may deposit a second conductive material to form a conductive via in the gap, where the conductive via extends to a height within the layered assembly that is above the thermal barrier material.

Abstract: A pumping cassette including a housing having at least two inlet fluid lines and at least two outlet fluid lines. At least one balancing pod within the housing and in fluid connection with the fluid paths. The balancing pod balances the flow of a first fluid and the flow of a second fluid such that the volume of the first fluid equals the volume of the second fluid. The balancing pod also includes a membrane that forms two balancing chambers. Also included in the cassette is at least two reciprocating pressure displacement membrane pumps. The pumps are within the housing and they pump the fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet line and pump the second fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet.
