Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention involve printing members that utilize a particle-fusion imaging mechanism but avoid susceptibility to handling damage. In particular, printing plates in accordance with the invention may utilize two phases, and these may originate, during manufacture, as two particle systems. Both systems are initially dispersed in a single coating applied as a layer, or in multiple coatings applied as adjacent layers, on a substrate. The second particle system exhibits a glass-transition or thermal coalescing temperature well above room temperature and also above the temperature at which the coating is dried. The coalescing temperature of the first particle system is below the drying temperature. As a result, when the coating is dried, the first particle system coalesces and forms a binder that entrains the second particle system, which has not coalesced.

Abstract: A register renaming system for out-of-order execution of a set of reduced instruction set computer instructions having addressable source and destination register fields, adapted for use in a computer having an instruction execution unit with a register file accessed by read address ports and for storing instruction operands. A data dependance check circuit is included for determining data dependencies between the instructions. A tag assignment circuit generates one or more tags to specify the location of operands, based on the data dependencies determined by the data dependance check circuit. A set of register file port multiplexers select the tags generated by the tag assignment circuit and pass the tags onto the read address ports of the register file for storing execution results.

Abstract: A zonal isolation device comprises a packer assembly and an internal setting mechanism operable to actuate the packer assembly from an unset position to a set position, wherein the zonal isolation device is resettable and retrievable. Another zonal isolation device comprises a packer assembly, a setting mechanism operable to actuate the packer assembly from an unset position to a set position in response to hydraulic pressure alone, and a locking mechanism operable to lock and unlock the packer assembly from the set position in response to hydraulic pressure alone. A method for setting a zonal isolation device within a well bore comprises running the zonal isolation device in an unset position within the well bore on a work string, applying a differential pressure between the work string and the well bore, and actuating the zonal isolation device to a set position in response to the differential pressure alone.

Abstract: An integrated structure layout of functional blocks and interconnections for an integrated circuit chip. Data dependency comparator blocks are arranged in rows and columns. This arrangement defines layout regions between adjacent ones of the data dependency comparator blocks in the rows. Tag assignment logic blocks are coupled to the data dependency comparator blocks to receive dependency information. The tag assignment logic blocks are positioned in one or more of the layout regions so as to be integrated with the data dependency comparator blocks to conserve area on the semiconductor chip and to spatially define a channel in and substantially orthogonal to one or more of the rows. Register file port multiplexer blocks are coupled to output lines of the tag assignment logic block adjacent to the orthogonal channel to receive tag information and to pass the tag information to address ports of a register file.

Abstract: A container is disclosed, generally having an open top defined by an annular rim, a base, and a sidewall extending between the top and the base. The sidewall has two arcuately formed longitudinal recesses, an annular rib, an annular shoulder located between the longitudinal recesses and the base, and a lower portion extending between the annular shoulder and the base. The annular shoulder is characterized by two arched portions aligned with the longitudinal recesses, and the lower portion has two beveled portions aligned with the longitudinal recesses. This container is more ergonomic, and has greater sidewall strength and rigidity, than existing containers.

Abstract: A protective covering for a LCD display is provided. The protective covering includes a sheet-like front portion, which rests over the surface of the LCD display when in use, a top portion that extends backwards from the sheet-like front portion, a back portion that extends downward from the top portion, and a pair of tabs that extend inward from the back portion such that the protective covering can be secured in place over the LCD monitor.

Abstract: Applicants have created an improved method and apparatus for remotely monitoring an electrical load and assessing key attributes of power-related anomalies and line disturbances caused or created by the electrical load and qualifying their conformity to certain expected steady state conditions. The apparatus includes an intelligent power distribution module that can include a power output section, a power input section, a communication section, and related circuitry. The intelligent power distribution module can further include a memory section, a sensing device, a processing device, and a switch. The method for monitoring an electrical load having a current and voltage requirement supplied by an electrical source coupled to the load generally includes: interfacing a sensing module between the load and the electrical source; sensing one or more characteristics of the load; and determining the performance of the load sensing.
