  • Patent number: 10832551
Abstract: A system and method are provided for monitoring a property. The method includes analyzing data obtained from one or more sensor units deployed for monitoring the property to generate a signature of the property, the signature being indicative of normal activities associated with the property and/or one or more occupants of the property. The method also includes obtaining current data acquired by the one or more sensors; analyzing the current data against the signature for the property to determine whether or not the current data is associated with normal activity, abnormal activity, a lack of activity, or an actionable event for the property. The method also includes having an alert or notification sent in response to analyzing the current data when abnormal activity, lack of activity, or an actionable event is detected.

  • Publication number: 20200308933
Abstract: A drill pipe mountable wellbore cleaning tool apparatus is of an improved configuration that enables attachment to a drill pipe joint having first and second connector end portions and a cylindrically shaped portion in between the connector end portions. The drill pipe joint with attached debris cleaning tool or tools is made part of a drill string. The apparatus includes a support sleeve that is mounted to the drill pipe joint in between the connector end portions. The support sleeve abuts but does not invade the integrity of the cylindrical portion. Centralizers are attached to the opposing ends of the support sleeve, with each centralizer overlapping a portion of the support sleeve. The support sleeve carries one or more debris cleaning tools in between the centralizers. These tools enable debris to be removed from a wellbore. At least one locking clamp is attached to the cylindrical portion next to a said centralizer.

  • Patent number: 10653950
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for independent audio volume control. For example, an audio component (e.g., implemented in an element of an audio setup) may control generation and/or outputting of a combined-game-and-chat audio signals. The audio component may receive user input comprising one or both of: a setting for a desired volume of a chat audio component of the combined-game-and-chat audio signal, and a setting for a desired volume of a game audio component of the combined-game-and-chat audio signal. The audio component may determine, based on the user input, a corresponding mix setting for mixing together of the chat audio component and the game audio component in an audio source to generate the combined-game-and-chat audio signal and a corresponding volume setting applicable at an audio output element; provide the mix setting to the audio source; and provide the volume setting to the audio output element.

  • Publication number: 20200016469
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for training and correcting table tennis strokes. The invention comprises: a physical pendulum assembly (20), pendulum axel/pivot assembly (30), ball/axel assembly (50), serve practice assembly (40), table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), mounting bracket/clamp assembly (70) and mounting member 60a. The table tennis training device allows a user to develop their table tennis strokes by tangentially striking the table tennis ball of table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or by rotating physical pendulum assembly (20) approximately 180 degrees and striking a user supplied table tennis ball off of table tennis ball tee (20j). The invention also allows a user to removably secure either, table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or the table tennis ball tee (20j) into the unattached end of serve practice assembly (40) in order to practice striking a table tennis ball at various heights above a table tennis table.

  • Patent number: 10493366
Abstract: An electronic device may be configured to present a user interface via which a user can select from a plurality of commands associated with a particular video game. In response to a selection of one of the plurality of commands, the electronic device may transmit the selected one of the plurality of commands to a user interface device. The selected command may cause said user interface device to transmit a corresponding one or more simulated user inputs to a game console. The selection of the command may occur automatically in response to detection, by audio processing circuitry, of an occurrence of the particular audio clip in an audio signal output by the game console.

  • Publication number: 20190308096
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for independent audio volume control. An audio system that includes at least one audio output element may be configured for handling and outputting, via the at least one audio output element, combined-game-and-chat audio. The handling may include determining, based on user input, a mix setting for mixing together of a chat audio component and a game audio component to generate combined-game-and-chat audio signals; determining a corresponding volume setting applicable at an audio output element of the audio system; and determining based on a mixing related parameter, a delay for applying the volume setting in the audio output element. The mix setting may be determined based on a data set characterizing the audio system. Application of one or both of the mix setting and the volume setting may be controlled, such as based a plurality of ramp up or down steps, for gradual or stepped changes.
