  • Publication number: 20170122072
Abstract: A drill pipe mountable wellbore cleaning tool apparatus is of an improved configuration that enables attachment to a drill pipe joint having first and second connector end portions and a cylindrically shaped portion in between the connector end portions. The drill pipe joint with attached debris cleaning tool or tools is made part of a drill string. The apparatus includes a support sleeve that is mounted to the drill pipe joint in between the connector end portions. The support sleeve abuts but does not invade the integrity of the cylindrical portion. Centralizers are attached to the opposing ends of the support sleeve, with each centralizer overlapping a portion of the support sleeve. The support sleeve carries one or more debris cleaning tools in between the centralizers. These tools enable debris to be removed from a wellbore. At least one locking clamp is attached to the cylindrical portion next to a said centralizer.

  • Publication number: 20160332556
Abstract: A tent assembly defining a tent portion for attachment to the bed of a pickup truck is disclosed. The tent topper has a plurality of openings therein at pre-selected locations which permit the tent to engage a plurality of adjustable pins. These pins, with their associated adjustment knobs, provide a means for stretching or making taut the tent to make the tent topper. Also, the tent portion is attached and fixed to a V-shaped roof support. Furthermore, the tent topper may be easily removed from the truck, disassembled, and stored in, for example, a suitcase type container in the truck cab behind the seat, as many truck owners do not like to permanently affix camper type shells on their truck beds.

  • Publication number: 20160303474
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for independent audio volume control. For example, an audio component (e.g., implemented in an element of an audio setup) may control generation and/or outputting of a combined-game-and-chat audio signals. The audio component may receive user input comprising one or both of: a setting for a desired volume of a chat audio component of the combined-game-and-chat audio signal, and a setting for a desired volume of a game audio component of the combined-game-and-chat audio signal. The audio component may determine, based on the user input, a corresponding mix setting for mixing together of the chat audio component and the game audio component in an audio source to generate the combined-game-and-chat audio signal and a corresponding volume setting applicable at an audio output element; provide the mix setting to the audio source; and provide the volume setting to the audio output element.

  • Patent number: 7308519
Abstract: A communications bus management circuit for a current probe system detects the connection of the current probe system to an instrument and the connection of a current probe to a current probe amplifier of the system. A controller generates a probe enable signal in the presence of the detected connection to the instrument that is coupled to a switching circuit. Switch elements couple the communications bus of the instrument to the communications bus of the current probe amplifier in the presence of the probe enable signal. The controller further generates a current probe present signal in the presence of the detected current probe that is also coupled to the switching element. A further switch element couples the data line of the instrument to ground via a resistive element in the presence of the current probe present signal and floats the data line when the current probe present signal is absent.

  • Publication number: 20070168063
Abstract: A method and apparatus for simulating the characteristics of an analog tone control circuit using digital computation means. The desired analog tone control circuit is modeled using initial treble, middle, and bass settings, following which simulation software is used to generate the model's magnitude and phase responses versus frequency, extending over the desired frequency range. Gains, zeroes and poles are then chosen to produce magnitude and phase versus frequency response matching as closely as possible to that of the simulated circuit. A bilinear transformation is then performed to produce a digital filter prototype. Update equations responsive to treble, middle, and bass settings of the simulated tone control circuit are then designed in a specified form, providing for modification of the digital filter parameters as a function of updates in the treble, middle, and bass settings of the simulated tone control circuit.
