  • Publication number: 20070027708
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating rental of a good comprising storing a good identifier associated with the good in a product database, displaying product information associated with the good based on a geographical location of the good, receiving a rental request from the renter, and sending a contact information associated with the renter to a listing party at least in part based on the rental request. The rental request may be anonymous. An inquiry may be received from the renter and anonymized and sent to the listing party. An anonymous negotiation between a listing party and the renter may be conducted and the rental price and/or the rental term may be determined based on the anonymous negotiation.

  • Publication number: 20060155352
Abstract: A lead locking device has a lead engaging member with a mandrel extending along a lumen and attached to the distal end of the lead engaging member such that it extends beyond the proximal end of the lead engaging member. The lead locking device also has a loop handle attached to the proximal end of the mandrel. The lead engaging member has a first configuration which is narrower than a second configuration and is sufficiently long to extend along substantially the entire length of a lead to be removed from a patient's body. At the distal end, a spring coil is disposed around a tapered section of the mandrel to improve tracking of the lead locking device through the inner lumen of a pacing or defibrillator lead.

  • Publication number: 20050061936
Abstract: A clip having a main member with a first side, a second side, a first end, and a second end. A first substantially planar member has a first end connected to a first end of a second substantially planar member. The outside of the vertex formed by the substantially planar members is connected to the first side of the main member intermediate the ends of the main member. In use, the substantially planar members contact the rear and outside edge of a frame for a canvas. A short hook is connected to the first end of the main member and, in use, presses against the front of the frame. And a long hook is attached to a second end of the main member and, in use, presses against the inside edge of the frame. A variety of attachments may be made to the second side of the main member.

  • Publication number: 20050010845
Abstract: The subject invention facilitates the efficient operation of the disassembly of the microprocessor bus by providing an apparatus and method for detecting and correcting a strobe phase inversion and predrive filtering in a 2× source synchronous data transfer bus. Apparatus according to the subject invention detects a data strobe inversion in a source synchronous 2× data bus and corrects for this inversion by reordering the received data as well as filtering predrive effects in real time. Specifically, this apparatus according to the subject invention monitors bus traffic in a multiprocessor environment and correctly captures all double data rate exchanges regardless of the source IC or destination IC in the system.

  • Publication number: 20040007313
Abstract: A printed wiring board is formed from two or more layers, one of which has circuit lines formed thereon, and wherein the surfaces of the circuit lines are roughened only in areas that require good copper to laminate adhesion. The remainder of the circuit line surfaces are smooth. Thus, those areas for propagation of the signal on signal lines have the circuit lines smooth to maximize the signal propagation effect, while those areas where the signal propagation is not critical are rough, which improves the adhesion of one layer to another. On the voltage planes, the surface in those regions opposite the smooth surfaces of the signal planes is smooth. Thus, these areas of the voltage planes can be maintained smooth while the other areas of the surface of the voltage planes can be roughened, providing good adhesion to the adjoining dielectric material.

  • Publication number: 20040000594
Abstract: A thermostatic mixing valve for hot and cold water has two-stage inlet chambers for the hot and cold water flows respectively. The inlet chambers distribute the flows uniformly with respect to porting for admitting the flows to the mixing chamber to reduce asymmetric flow patterns and promote thorough mixing of the flows within the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 6543098
Abstract: A facility for mounting an electronic component includes a first circuit board having of mounting apertures. A mounting element is associate with each aperture, and includes a boss defining a bore. The boss has a first surface contacting a major surface of the first circuit board, and a second surface opposite the first surface. A pin is received in the bore, and has a lower portion protruding from the first surface of the boss and into one of the apertures. The pins lower portion definves a spece to capture a portion of the first circuit board. A fastener connected to the pin may generate compression between the spece and the boss to secure the board, and a corner-shaped protrusion on the second surface may constrain the corner periphery of a second board resting on the second surface, with the fastener also securing the second board against the boss.

  • Patent number: 5702433
Abstract: A kink-resistant steerable catheter assembly suitable for microwave ablation includes a handle, a catheter and a steering control. The catheter has (a) a flexible, torque-transmitting and axially incompressible proximal or body portion terminating in a proximal end attached to the handle, and (b) a flexible and axially compressible distal or tip portion terminating in a distal end. A coaxial cable is disposed in and extends through a large aperture in the catheter proximal portion, and a coaxial cable extension is generally centrally disposed in, substantially fills, and snugly extends through a large lumen in the catheter distal portion to reduce kinking. The control is disposed in and actuatable from the handle, for placing tension on one of a pair of steering wires while relaxing tension on the other of the pair of steering wires, thereby to bend the distal end of the coaxial cable extension toward the tensed one of the steering wires.
