Abstract: Compositions of carbon particles dispersed in phenolic solvents or dispersed in solvent mixtures of one or more phenolic solvents with one or more non-phenolic solvents are provided. The compositions can take the form of liquid dispersions, pastes, gels, and doughs. Also provided are methods of making the compositions and methods of forming the compositions into coatings, films, fibers, and other three-dimensional objects.

Abstract: Implementation of a guided rules editor comprises displaying a view of a user interface (UI) of the guided rules editor to a user on the client device. Metadata of an organization to which the user belongs is fetched and used to identify which data of the organization is eligible for rule creation and attributes of the metadata are used to determine a layout of the one or more UI selection elements. One or more UI selection elements are rendered in one or more positions in the view on a display screen according to the layout and at least a portion of the one or more UI selection elements are populated with the data of the organization. Responsive to receiving user input of the one or more UI selection elements, an organization-specific rule is generated and saved to a data repository for execution by a rules engine after rule compilation.

Abstract: An approach is disclosed that identifies an anomaly in a Volume Table of Contents Index (VTOC Index) that is associated with a Direct Access Storage Device (DASD) Volume Table of Contents (VTOC) that corresponds to a DASD. The approach operates to automatically correct the VTOC Index based on the identified anomaly.

Abstract: A robotic system includes a robot having a picking arm to grasp an inventory item and a shuttle. The shuttle includes a platform adapted to receive the inventory item from the picking arm of the robot. The platform is moveable in at least a two-dimensional horizontal plane between a pick-up location located substantially adjacent to the robot and an end location spaced a distance apart from the pick-up location. The system improves efficiency as transportation of the item from the pick-up location to the end location is divided between the robot and the shuttle.

Abstract: A system for facilitating offline processing of electronic transactions at an ATM when the ATM does not support a network connection may be provided. The system may include a mobile device configured to store an updatable account balance of a personal account associated with a user of the mobile device and transaction data associated with a plurality of transactions executed via the mobile device. The system may include the ATM being configured to operate in an offline processing mode when the network connection is unsupported. The offline processing mode may include the ATM receiving a transaction request and account data from the mobile device. The ATM may be configured to authenticate or deny the executing of the transaction request based on a predetermined threshold of transaction locations positioned at a distance greater than or less than a pre-determined distance from the ATM.

Abstract: A system for creating a second quantity of sinterable powder particles which have sizes falling within a second size range, from a first quantity of sinterable powder particles having sizes falling within a first size range, and where the sizes of the powder particles in the second size range are all larger than those in the first size range. In one embodiment the system has a heating component responsive to a predetermined temperature/time heating profile, which heats the first quantity of powder particles using the temperature/time heating profile, to cause partial sintering of the powder particles, which creates a new plurality of powder particles which have an increased dimension.

The device check-in can include a device identifier that uniquely identifies the client device with respect to other client devices and a user identifier that uniquely identifies the user of the client device with respect to other users of the client device. In response, a device channel identifier associated with the device identifier and a user channel identifier associated with both the user identifier and the device identifier can be obtained. Then a first set of entitlements associated with the device channel identifier and a second set of entitlements associated with the user channel identifier can be selected. Both sets of entitlements can be provided to the client device in response to the device check-in.

Abstract: Methods for determining glycation on a molecule and/or a glycan structure on a glycosylated molecule through the use of a combination of spectroscopic analysis and chemometric modeling are described. In addition, methods and systems for producing a molecule with a desired level of glycation, including a non-glycated molecule, and/or a desired level of a glycan structure on a glycosylated molecule are described.

In some examples, the images need not necessarily be orthogonal with respect to one another. Configuration information associated with the fixation apparatus may then be received. Additionally, first image information may be received, for example including indications of one or more locations, within the images, of at least part of one or more elements of the fixation apparatus. Additionally, second image information may be received, for example including indications of one or more locations, within the images, of at least part of the first and the second anatomical structure segments. Manipulations to the fixation apparatus for correction of the anatomical structure deformity may then be determined, and indications of the determined manipulations may then be provided to one or more users.
