  • Patent number: 12566553
Abstract: A non-volatile flip flop (NVFF) incorporates a non-volatile bit into important registers and memory structures to allow a processing state to be resumed after a power down without the need to reboot or write state data to disk. An intermittent computing device, designed for periodic, rather than constant, operation, can benefit by avoiding the need to incur a formal shutdown and writing of data to disk or non-volatile memory. Similarly, no boot or reading of state data need occur when a subsequent intermittent computing cycle occurs. Flip-flop structures that store data bits employ the NVFF capability, typically amounting to around 20% of the total number of gates in the intermittent computing device. Accordingly, the number of power consuming elements is only modestly increased, and savings achieved by avoiding the need to write state data to disk or non-volatile memory.

  • Patent number: 12547769
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods of configuring and operating a de-identification system are provided. At least one electronic data model is maintained, which includes a plurality of de-identification requirements for removing personal information from clinical data obtained in a clinical environment, the plurality of de-identification requirements including requirements applicable to at least one jurisdiction of a plurality of jurisdictions. An identifier identifying one of the jurisdictions is received. The data model is traversed to determine a subset of the de-identification requirements applicable to the identified jurisdiction. Data defining a user selection of operating parameters of the de-identification system are received. The user selection is analyzed for conformity with the subset of de-identification requirements. In response to determining the user selection conforms with the subset of de-identification requirements, a signal is generated indicating the conformity.

  • Patent number: 12517776
Abstract: Physical layer devices and related methods for determining Bit Error Rates (BERs) and correcting errors in signals received through shared transmission media of wireless local area networks are disclosed. A physical layer device is configured to identify coding violations in received signal, determine a rate of the coding violations in the signal, and estimate a BER of the signal to be equal to the determined rate of the coding violations. A physical layer device is configured to invert a half symbol immediately preceding or immediately following a coding violation based, at least in part, on signal integrities of the half symbol immediately preceding and the half symbol immediately following the coding violation to correct a bit error.

  • Publication number: 20250369952
Abstract: Provided herein are systems, devices, and methods for performing optical multianalyte detection in a sample, such as a human blood sample. The system processes sample in a single-use support pack that holds the blood sample and contains pipette tips, buffers, reagent preparation wells and a monolayer. Sample is transferred from the sample pack to a single-use disc consumable that contains microwells pre-filled with dried chemistries, plasma separation features, and a hematocrit channel. The instrument comprises a cell imager, an absorbance module comprising a spectrophotometer, a fluorescent laser scanning module, and a camera. The system uses only a small amount of blood from a single heparinized sample, to simultaneously provide results for a full panel of routine blood tests spanning electrochemistry, clinical chemistry, hematology, immunoassays and combinations thereof.

  • Publication number: 20250302184
Abstract: An attachment mechanism for attaching components to a belt comprising a strap body having an inner surface and an outer surface with loop closures on the inner surface and hook closures on the outer surface. The strap body has a base tab having an aperture, and a bridge section and an overlock tab. The overlock tab passes through the aperture from an inner surface to and outer surface of the strap body and adheres to the base tab. The strap body wraps around a belt having hook closures on an inside surface. The loop closures of the base tab are adhered to the hook closures on the inside surface of the belt, the bridge section folds over a top edge of the belt, extends across an outer surface of the belt, and the overlock tab folds over a bottom edge of the belt. The loop closures on the overlock tab adhere to hook closures on the inside surface of the belt and on a base tab outer surface after the overlock tab extends through the aperture to secure the attachment mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20250139707
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein describe deploying a plurality of microservices to calculate an insurance rate. The plurality of microservices may operate in parallel to calculate a plurality of partial rates that are combined (e.g., added up) to determine the insurance rate. During the calculating steps, one or more rating factors may be cached and/or stored. The plurality of microservices may reduce the time and/or resources required by a processor to calculate an insurance rate, while the stored rating factors may be displayed to the user to provide greater transparency into how the insurance rate was calculated.

  • Publication number: 20240394661
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein describe a canonical model that sets forth a standardized schema that represents data entities and their relationships as a logical data structure across multiple business units. A schema validator module may validate application-specific schema against the canonical module. Additionally, legacy and/or existing applications may be upgraded, through a transformation module, to comply with the canonical model. The transformation module may transform application-specific data and/or information to the standardized schema, and vice versa, to ensure that legacy and/or existing applications may communicate with applications and/or processing engines that comply with the standardized schema.
