    Abstract: A drape covers robotic equipment in a medical environment to maintain sterility. The robotic equipment has an arm with an end surface which attaches to a tool, such as an active end effector. The drape has an extended drape portion that covers the arm, and a shaped drape portion that covers the end of the arm where the arm is clamped to the tool. The drape is clamped inside the clamp, and where the clamping occurs, the drape has a band of material that is reinforced by being thickened or by including a different material. The shape of the band corresponds to the portion of the arm that is clamped by the clamp.

    Abstract: A system for delivering a payload nucleic acid into target cells of a subject and production of a payload (or payloads) encoded by the payload nucleic acid in the cells. The system includes a Bifidobacterium sp. bacterium comprising a plasmid and a transporter nucleic acid, the transporter nucleic acid configured for expression in the bacterium. The transporter nucleic acid encodes a transporter polypeptide comprising, in an amino-terminal to carboxy-terminal order, a bacterial secretion signal peptide, a DNA-binding domain to bind the plasmid, and a cell penetrating peptide. The transporter polypeptide complexes with the plasmid and transports the plasmid from the bacterium into the target cells. The plasmid encodes one or more payloads (protein and/or ribonucleic acid) for production in the target cells. The target cells may be colonic cells. When the payload(s) include an antigen, the system may be a DNA vaccine.

    Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for detecting a position of an object with a robot surgical system having an articulable, separable camera stand. The surgical robot system may include a robot having a robot base with a robot arm and an end-effector coupled to the robot arm. The end-effector, surgical instruments, the patient, other objects, or any combination thereof, may be tracked via active and/or passive tracking markers. A camera, such as an infrared camera, a bifocal camera or a stereophotogrammetric infrared camera, is mounted on a separable camera stand and is able to detect the tracking markers when in use. Using the camera, the robot determines a position of the object from the tracking markers, which may be a three-dimensional position of the object or the markers. When convenient, the camera base may be assembled into the robot base, e.g., by sliding the camera base into the robot.

The request may include instruction(s) for the communication platform to perform a modifying operation on data within a virtual space. Based on receiving the request, the communication platform may identify the data on which the operation is to be performed. The communication platform may input the data to one or more machine-learning models trained to output data that is a modified version of the data input to the machine-learning model (e.g., modified data). In such cases, the modified data may be modified consistent with the requested operation. The communication platform may receive the modified data from the machine-learning model and cause the modified data to be displayed via a user interface associated with the user profile.

The computing system then uses a natural language processing (NLP) model to identify syntactic characteristics of the sequences of words. Insertion of the first trunk section into the second trunk section and thus contact of the guiding protrusion against the guiding surface can cause the first trunk section to rotate relative the second trunk section until a predetermined rotational alignment is reached, aligning electrical contacts of first and second electrical connectors, each of which is attached to an outer wall of a respective trunk section. The electrical contacts of the first and second electrical connectors can establish electrical communication between the first and second electrical connectors, and thus between the first and second trunk sections.
