Abstract: A device for arranging a marking around a prolate object includes: a material interface for receiving a printed product provided by a printer; a printing signal interface for acquiring a control signal indicative of the provision of the printed product; a stop for limiting a longitudinal motion of the prolate object along a longitudinal axis in an end position of the prolate object relative to the device; and at least one actuator for, depending on the control signal indicative of the provision of the printed product, arranging the marking in a circumferentially closed manner on the prolate object using the printed product provided by the printer. The prolate object is arranged in the end position.

Abstract: A magazine (1) for processing wire terminations (2), which are connected to one another via connecting bridges (3) to form a wire termination strip (4), wherein the magazine (1) has a housing (5). The housing (5) has a magazine level in which the wire terminations (2) can be separated from the wire termination strip (4) by a cutting device (6) provided in the magazine level. A feed mechanism (7) is provided in the magazine level, by which mechanism the wire termination strip (4) can be transported in the magazine level, so that the separated wire terminations (2) can be conveyed into a depression level for processing, the magazine level and the depression level being different from one another.

Abstract: A printer having a housing with a printing chamber, a printing device, a holding device for an exchangeable magazine for holding an object to be printed on, a control and evaluation unit, a memory, and at least one optical sensor in the housing for detection of an identification located on a magazine inserted into the receiving device. The control and evaluation unit is able to compare the identification on the inserted magazine which has been detected by the at least one optical sensor to an identification stored in the memory for a magazine which is allowable for the print object to be printed upon, and for outputting an error message when the comparison establishes a difference between the detected identification and the stored identification.

The dispensing edge is arranged relative to the support in a first position to induce a detaching deflection of the carrier for detaching the respective label. The dispensing edge and the support are arranged in a second position relative to each other to induce an entraining deflection for entraining the respective label on the carrier.
