  • Patent number: 5514993
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing transferring noise of a digital signal comprises, a noise-transfer preventing circuit 11 which transfers a signal D whose potential represents data to be transferred originally in binary data and a signal DB whose potential represents the other data at the same time, inputs the signals D and DB at an input block 10 side, outputs one signal D as an input signal as a normal state when the signals D and DB are the potentials representing different data "1" and "0", and when the signals D and DB are the potentials representing same data, continues to output the signal previously outputted as the input signal as an abnormal state, whereby, at the time of transferring the digital signal, it can be avoided to transfer the level change according to fluctuations of the signal potential or the signal change on the other signal lines as the dat signal.

  • Patent number: 5483471
Abstract: A microcomputer in which a monitor Read Only Memory (ROM) 100 having a monitor sense amplifier circuit 113 whose normal operation range for power voltage is set narrower than that of the sense amplifier circuit 130 of the ROM 20 is provided, and the sense amplifier circuit 130 of the ROM 20 is constructed so as to has a plurality of sense amplifier circuit portions and a switching circuit portion to obtain an optimum operation range for a plurality of power voltages by switching the circuit characteristic according to a signal supplied from the monitor ROM 100. The sense amplifier circuit 130 is switched to obtain an optimum operation range for a plurality of power voltages, or the frequency of the system clock E can be switched, by detecting such a state wherein the power voltage decreases or the frequency of the system clock E increases to reach near the operation limit.

  • Patent number: 5430606
Abstract: A double layer capacitor with electrodes produced from a carbonaceous material having a large capacitance obtained by heat-treating an activated carbon precursor at a temperature below 700.degree. C., preferably from 400.degree. to 500.degree. C., in an alkali metal hydroxide bath. In particular, its capacitance per unit volume is several times larger, in some cases 7 or more times larger, as compared with conventional activated carbons for capacitors.

  • Patent number: 5350951
Abstract: A microcomputer including first, a voltage change circuit which includes circuitry for selecting one of two voltages applicable to a PROM and, second, leak current prevention circuitry for preventing a current from leaking from a first terminal at a first voltage through first and second switching elements to a second terminal. The leak current prevention circuitry can be a transistor whose source, drain and gate are tied to the first terminal, to the gate of the second switching element and to the second terminal, respectively. The leak current prevention circuitry operates to cut off the second switching element which the voltage at the second terminal is zero. The circuitry for selecting can be two series circuit, each consisting of a diode and two transistors. The series circuits are interconnected and responsive to a voltage selecting signal.

  • Patent number: 4514965
Abstract: Medical appliances are continuously packed for sterilization thereof by the process wherein (1) bags having micropores in peripheral side portions thereof to be sealed, which micropores allow passage of a sterilizing gas and a high pressure steam but do not allow passage of germs, are formed from packing sheets; (2) medical appliances are inserted into the bags while the bags are formed; (3) all the peripheral side portions of the bags are sealed; and (4) the sealed bags containing the packed medical appliances are separated into packages each having the packed medical appliance.

  • Patent number: 4144741
Abstract: A detector to be inserted into a flowing conductive fluid, e.g. sodium coolant in a nuclear reactor, comprising at least one exciting coil to receive an a-c signal applied thereto and two detecting coils located in the proximity of the exciting coil. The difference and/or the sum of the output signals of the detecting coils is computed to produce a flow velocity signal and/or a temperature-responsive signal for the fluid. Such flow velocity signal or temperature signal is rectified synchronously by a signal the phase of which is shifted substantially .+-. 90.degree. with respect to the flow velocity signal or temperature signal, thereby enabling the device to detect voids in the flowing fluid without adverse effects from flow velocity variations or flow disturbances occurring in the fluid.

  • Patent number: 4019228
Abstract: A filamentary strand of a thermoplastic nature is ejected from an ejection nozzle being entrained on a heated medium flow into a stuffing chamber structured on a circulating endless surface moving at a speed slower than the ejection speed and the stuffed filamentary strand is transported, being carried by the endless surface, towards a downstream outlet of the stuffing room in such a way that the yarn mass is gradually compressed during displacement toward the downstream outlet of said stuffing room. During the transportation either a free or a positive cooling is employed. The resultant filamentary strand is provided with random, bulky and round three-dimensional crimps.
