  • Patent number: 7536580
Abstract: The present invention relates to timer generation corresponding to a plurality of timer requests, etc. necessary for task processes of a CPU and achieves efficient timer generation. The present invention includes a count setting unit (register) presetting a timer value that should be set at the time of completion of counting in a counter (down counter) that counts down or up a lapse of time to achieve the start and switching of the timer operation even without a high-speed response in the CPU. In such a configuration, a CPU clock can be operated at lower speed and the reduction of the consumption currents can be achieved. The present invention is applied to various electronic apparatuses such as portable terminal apparatuses.

  • Patent number: 7523326
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to shorten the time needed to start when a cellular phone is switched on. If a power key is switched off during operation, the display of an LCD is switched off, and key interrupts and the like are masked. In this case, data in the middle of the process of an application program in execution, execution addresses and the like are stored, and shift to a suspension state is signaled notified to a baseband unit. The CPU of an application unit is set to a deep sleep mode, and the cellular phone waits for a start instruction from the baseband unit.

  • Patent number: 7508368
Abstract: A drive voltage generator circuit is provided for developing drive voltages used for driving an LCD panel. The drive voltage generator circuit is composed of a breeder, a buffer amplifier, a switch circuitry, and a set of first to N-th output terminals on which the drive voltages are developed, respectively. The breeder develops a set of first to N-th different voltages on first to N-th nodes, respectively, N being any integer equal to or more than 2, and the first to N-th voltages being associated with grayscale levels, respectively. The switch circuitry switches connections among an input and an output of the buffer amplifier, the first to N-th nodes, and the first to N-th output terminals.

  • Patent number: 7438230
Abstract: An image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and an image processing program are provided. The processing apparatus, method, and program relate to image processing executed in an AF camera, etc., and make clear a variation in an image displayed during focusing operation. The image processing apparatus includes an image-capturing element that puts out an image formed through an optical system, a focus controlling unit that controls the optical system to locate it at a focusing position, using the image obtained by the image-capturing element through the optical system, and an image processing unit that forms a pseudo-image during focusing operation of the optical system caused by the focus controlling unit, the pseudo-image showing a resolution variation enlarged to be greater than that of the image obtained by the image-capturing element.

  • Patent number: 7386498
Abstract: A transaction assisting apparatus capable of automatically transacting chain orders. Chain order input unit accepts entry of a chain order and supplies the input chain order to chain order storing unit to be stored therein. Order detecting unit is supplied with an input buy order, and if the buy order placed is for the chain order, it notifies chain order processing unit that the buy order has been placed for the chain order. The chain order processing unit performs a selling/purchasing process with respect to the chain order for which the buy order has been placed. When the selling/purchasing process is completed, deleting unit deletes the corresponding chain order from the chain order storing unit. In the event the price of chained goods has changed, price changing unit changes the price of chain goods correspondingly in an interlocked manner. Display unit selectively displays, on display units, only those chain orders which satisfy certain conditions such as the presence of chained goods.
