  • Publication number: 20030232543
Abstract: A jack, which would cause hardly a defective connection even if a mechanical deformation is received when attaching or using it, will be offered. The electric junction of contacts (3), (4) and leads (51), (52) is done by crimping, the crimping portions (3c), (4b) are arranged in a housing (1) of the jack which is not exposed easily to a mechanical deformation, and, in addition, the structure is so made that the mechanical force doesn't work easily on the crimping portions (3c), (4b) also by the leads (51), (52) extending from the jack.

  • Publication number: 20030111541
Abstract: A CF card can be shifted in position with respect to a card connecting adapter between a position where it is projected from the housing of the card connecting adapter and a position where it is prevented from projecting from the housing of the card connecting adapter. When the CF card is set at the position where it is prevented from projecting from the housing of the card connecting adapter, the antenna mounting surface of the CF card with an antenna is prevented from projecting from the body of a notebook personal computer. On the other hand, when the CF card is set at the position where it is projected from the housing, the antenna mounting surface is projected from the PC card slot.

  • Patent number: 6481633
Abstract: An IC-incorporating card has a grounding structure which ensures reliable grounding of metal panels thereof and employs a connector which is usable in common for cards having different thicknesses. The card includes a board mounted with an integrated circuit, a resin frame defining an internal space for accommodating the board, first and second metal panels attached to the resin frame to define the internal space, a connector mounted on the board, and a grounding structure for grounding the first and second metal panels. The connector has first and second grounding conductor elements. The first metal panel is connected to the first grounding conductor element via a grounding connection element embedded in the resin frame. The second metal panel is directly connected to the second grounding conductor element.
