A receiving tray, having the receiving element for the connector, is mounted on the adapter housing and variable between open and closed contact positions. In the open position, the connector is inserted in the receiving element in a defined position and removed therefrom. In the contact position, the at least one connecting contact of the connector is brought in contact with the contact element in the adapter housing in a defined manner.
