  • Publication number: 20080036197
Abstract: The invention concerns a security and/or value document, in particular a banknote. The security and/or value document has a support (1) of a paper material and an in particular strip-form or thread-form film element (2) which contains one or more optical security features. The support (1) has one or more window-shaped openings (35) which are closed by means of the film element (2) which projects beyond the openings on all sides. Applied to the side of the support (1) of a paper material, which is in opposite relationship to the film element (2), is a sealing layer (4) which covers the surfaces of the film element (2) at least in the region of the openings.

  • Publication number: 20070271018
Abstract: A system and method are provided for controlling or automatically controlling the driving dynamics of a two-track, two-axle motor vehicle having only one driven axle, which, for the rolling moment support, has a system for changing the distribution of the wheel contact forces to the left and right wheel respectively of each axle. The fractions of the rolling moment support taken over by the front axle and by the rear axle are changeable as a function of the drive torque provided by the drive assembly of the motor vehicle. For this purpose, a desired wheel contact force for the driven wheels can be determined from the drive torque, and by way of this desired wheel contact force, the distribution of the rolling torque support can be determined.

  • Patent number: 7278784
Abstract: A dental X-ray system includes a radiation source used to produce X-rays and disposed in an X-ray head. The system has an electronic sensor used to detect X-rays. The sensor can be detachably connected to a central unit of the X-ray system by a plug-in connection. The electronic control system for the sensor is integrated into a plug connected thereto by an external connection cable and is associated with the sensor, thereby enabling a simple exchange between two sensors. The system can include several sensors that can be operated parallel to each other.

  • Publication number: 20060054572
Abstract: Liquid samples containing for example differerent combinations of DNA and markers are subjected to various processing steps, for examle exposure to different temperature baths. A flexible band is used that contains a series of cavities arranged along a longitudinal direction of the flexible band. The liquid samples are inserted into the cavities and the band is subsequently fed through a succession of processing stations. The band extends through the stations when the processing steps of the stations are applied. By advancing the band the samples are subjected to successive processing stages. At the end of the process the band may be disposed of, for eexample after extracting the samples.
