  • Publication number: 20180142053
Abstract: The present invention relates to a molecularly imprinted polymer for binding glycans, wherein the molecularly imprinted polymer is obtainable by providing a saccharide template such as a glycan; providing at least two functional monomers capable of cooperatively; interacting with the template; providing a crosslinking monomer; polymerizing the monomers optionally dissolved in a solvent, in presence of the saccharide template; and removing the template from the formed polymer. The invention is also related to a method for their production and use of the molecularly imprinted polymer.

  • Patent number: 8389741
    Abstract: The invention relates to difluoroboradiazaindacene dyes of the formula (1) where R1=fluoro-substituted phenyl residue C6HmFn where n=1 to 5 and m+n=5; or fluoro-substituted naphthyl residue C10HmFn where n=1 to 9 and m+n=9; R2=CH3, C2H5, C3H7, or C4H9; R3=alkyl, aryl, or vinyl aryl; R4, R5=H, F, or an R4 and R5 bridging residue CH?CH—CH?CH; R6, R7=H, F, or an R6 and R7 bridging residue CH?CH—CH?CH; and R8=alkyl or aryl.

  • Patent number: 7947502
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method and a kit for calibrating a photoluminescence measurement system, in particular a fluorescence measurement system. The kit includes a number of fluorescence standards i and their corrected and certified fluorescence spectra Ii(?), whereby the fluorescence standards i are selected, so that their spectrally corrected fluorescence spectra Ii(?) cover a broad spectral range with high intensity. The standards are characterized by large half-widths FWHMi of their bands of at least 1400 cm?1. According to the method of the invention, partial correction functions Fi(?) are generated by forming the quotient of the measured fluorescence spectra Ji(?) and the corresponding corrected fluorescence spectra Ii(?), which are then combined to form a total correction function F(?) for a broad spectral range.
