  • Publication number: 20160252432
Abstract: A tire and a drum are relatively moved so that a pressing load is increased, and stopped when the pressing load becomes a predetermined value lower than a target value. A value of the pressing load and a relative distance between the tire and the drum are measured at timings when a circumferential position of the tire is the same. A dynamic longitudinal spring constant of the tire is calculated by using change amounts of the pressing load and the relative distance. An adjustment amount serving as a distance by which the tire and the drum are relatively moved so that a value of the pressing load when relative movement is stopped becomes the target value is calculated by using the dynamic longitudinal spring constant and a difference between the arrival value and the target value. The tire and the drum are relatively moved by the adjustment amount.

  • Patent number: 8826727
Abstract: A gas sensor including a reduction section (18) for reducing NO2 contained in exhaust gas to NO. The reduction section (18) is provided on the upstream side of a first diffusion resistor section (103) which limits the flow of the exhaust gas into a first measurement chamber (101). When NOX passes through the first diffusion resistor section (103), NO2 which has a greater molecular weight than NO has a lower degree of diffusion. Since NO2 is reduced to NO at the reduction section (18), the exhaust gas passing through the first diffusion resistor section (103) hardly contains NO2. Therefore, the speed of flow of NOX through the first diffusion resistor section (103) is not limited by NO2, whereby sensitivity for detection of NOX can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20120249795
Abstract: A signal recognizing device is mounted on a moving body, and connects to a camera. The signal recognizing device includes a storage unit, a signal display candidate detecting unit (SDCDU), a reference calculating unit (RCU) and a green lighting determination unit (GLDU). The SDCDU detects red lamp candidate areas from an image. The RCU calculates a moving average of pixel value per pixel existing in the green lamp candidate area, and stores the moving averages. For each pixel value of the green lamp candidate area, the RCU omits the pixel value from the samples for calculating the moving average if a difference between the pixel value and the moving average exceeds a threshold. Upon red lamp transition to an unlit state, it determines whether a green lamp is lit based on the image captured at the time of the unlit state of the red lamp and the moving averages.

  • Patent number: 7808237
Abstract: Excitation-use high frequency RF generated by an RF oscillator is modulated by a modulator based on control by a pulse control unit, to give a pulse form. The generated RF pulse is then amplified by an RF amplifier, and set to a small-sized RF coil. The small-sized RF coil applies the RF pulse to a specific position of a sample placed on a sample stage, and detects echo signals of the RF pulse. The echo signal is amplified by a preamplifier, and is then sent to a phase detector. The phase detector detects the echo signal, and sent it via an A/D converter to an operation unit. The operation unit calculates T2 relaxation time constant based on intensity of the echo signal, and the water content at the predetermined position of the sample is calculated based on the calculated T2 relaxation time constant.
