  • Patent number: 6939526
Abstract: Graphite particles having a bent laminate structure inside each particle are produced by feeding, into an impact grinder, graphite particles having an average particle diameter of 5 mm or less together with a gas current to apply an impact to the graphite particles to form, by a compression force, a bent laminate structure inside each graphite particle. The resulting graphite particles have an average particle diameter of 100 ?m or less, are low in anisotropy, have a nearly spherical shape, and are highly crystalline.

  • Patent number: 6884545
Abstract: An anode material for lithium secondary battery, which comprises graphite particles and a crystalline carbon coating layer formed thereon, wherein each graphite particle has a bent laminate structure inside, is produced by grinding a graphite of 5 mm or less in average particle diameter using an impact grinder to produce graphite particles of 100 ?m or less in average particle diameter having a bent laminate structure inside each particle and then subjecting the graphite particles to chemical vapor deposition in a fluidized bed type reaction furnace to form a crystalline carbon coating layer on the graphite particles.

  • Publication number: 20040123011
Abstract: In a bus, which is provided with a switch having a plurality of master ports and a plurality of slave ports and can connect each of the plurality of master ports to an arbitrary port of the plurality of slave ports, an address phase that issues an address and a command and a data phase that issues write data are separated, and an address phase of next transaction can be issued before the data phase is completed. This improves performance of a system, in which a plurality of master modules and slave modules are connected through the bus.

  • Patent number: 6480668
Abstract: A recording apparatus operates in any one of a standard mode and a high-quality mode. The apparatus records a video signal of a standard format during the standard mode of operation. The apparatus records a video signal of a high-quality format during the high-quality mode of operation. A signal processing circuit for use in the apparatus includes a first device for subjecting a first signal to a nonlinear emphasis process to convert the first signal into a second signal. A second device operates for selecting one of the first signal and the second signal in response to whether the apparatus operates in the standard mode or the high-quality mode, and for outputting the selected signal as a third signal. A third device operates for subjecting the third signal to a nonlinear de-emphasis process to convert the third signal into a fourth signal.
