    Abstract: A vehicle-surrounding image display apparatus and a vehicle-surrounding image display method permits a user to intuitively recognize in which direction a vehicle side image is displayed along with a vehicle top image. When a vehicle side image, such as a forward side view image, and a rearward mirror view image is displayed along with a top view image, distinction images indicative of a correspondence relation between the vehicle side image and the direction in which the vehicle side image is shot in the top view image, are superimposed on both the vehicle side image and the top view image, which enables a user to intuitively recognize in which direction the vehicle side image displayed along with the top view image is shot by looking at both the vehicle side image and the top view image showing the distinction images.

    Abstract: A resin forming method and a resin forming apparatus for obtaining a resin formed product, by filling a cavity of a rubber-made mold with a thermoplastic resin, and cooling the thermoplastic resin. When filling the cavity with the thermoplastic resin, an electromagnetic wave generator is used, and electromagnetic waves having an intensity peak in a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 ?m are irradiated to the thermoplastic resin from the surface of the mold, and thereby the thermoplastic resin is heated selectively from the mold. The thermoplastic resin is an ABS resin which either a noncrystalline thermoplastic resin, or is a rubber modified thermoplastic resin.

A vehicle illustration image is displayed in the area surrounded by the actual images of the portions of the vehicle. Since the vehicle actual images are displayed at the perimeter of the vehicle display portion, it is easy for an operator who views a display screen to recognize the positional relationships between the perimeter of the vehicle and obstacles outside the vehicle perimeter.

It is then determined whether or not the obtained size of the available area is larger than the size of the total print data. If it is determined that the size of the available area is larger, the total print data is created on the available area in the memory card.     Abstract: A vehicle-periphery image generating apparatus and a method of correcting distortion of vehicle-periphery image corrects distortion of the obstacle image appearing in the vehicle-periphery image after viewpoint conversion, so that visual discomfort experienced by the driver is reduced. Images around the vehicle are captured by a plurality of cameras, and an obstacle around the vehicle is detected by an ultrasonic sensor. When the obstacle is detected, a width of an image in the region positioned on the far side of the obstacle is compressed in the center direction of the images to generate the vehicle-periphery image. As a result, when a three-dimensional obstacle around the vehicle appears in an camera image, the camera image is viewpoint-converted so that enlargement or stretching of the obstacle image can be prevented.
