  • Publication number: 20070097606
Abstract: A semiconductor device mounting socket is disclosed that is fixed to a motherboard and is used for mounting a surface mounted semiconductor device on the motherboard. The semiconductor device mounting socket includes a bracket that is fixed to the motherboard and a pad pitch converting member that is arranged within the bracket. The pad pitch converting member includes an upper face on which semiconductor device side pads are arranged at a first pitch corresponding to the pitch of pads of the surface mounted semiconductor device, and a lower face on which motherboard side pads that are electrically connected to the semiconductor device side pads are arranged at a second pitch that is different from the first pitch. The surface mounted semiconductor device is arranged above the pad pitch converting member within the bracket.

  • Publication number: 20060279371
Abstract: A flexible print cable includes signal lines and ground lines. The signal lines and the ground lines are disposed alternately on each of an upper surface and an under surface of a film. The positions of the signal lines on the upper surface correspond to the positions of the ground lines on the under surface. The positions of the signal lines on the under surface correspond to the positions of the ground lines on the upper surface. The ground lines are wider than the signal lines. An edge part of one of the ground lines on the upper surface in a width direction overlaps a part of one of the ground lines on the under surface. Another edge part of the ground line on the upper surface in the width direction overlaps a part of another one of the ground lines on the under surface.

  • Patent number: 6353865
Abstract: A terminator for an ULTRA-2-SCSI bus has an indicator to indicate an operating mode of the bus, a connector, a terminating unit connecting data lines of the ULTRA-2-SCSI bus to terminating resistors through the connector, a mode detector detecting an operating mode of the bus according to a voltage in a differential voltage detecting line of the bus, LEDs (212, 213) and LED drivers (215, 216) driving the LED's according to the output of the mode detector. These elements are arranged in a casing consisting of upper and lower covers (201, 202). The upper cover has LED lenses (205, 206) through which light from the LEDs passes and which indicates an operating mode of the bus.
