  • Publication number: 20040042228
Abstract: A vehicle lamp has a red bulb which is made by coating its exterior surface with a red paint including iron oxide as a red pigment. A mean particle size of the iron oxide is controlled to a range of approximately 10 to 100 nm, and a PWC concentration of the iron oxide is controlled to a range of approximately 60 to 90%. As a result, a red marker lamp can have an appropriate luminous flux (120±20% lm) and desirable chromaticity (y<0.335 and z<0.008) and satisfactory heat resistance (350° C. or higher).

  • Patent number: 6671750
Abstract: A LAN interface is provided that can reduce the power consumption of the whole of a terminal in an unnecessary state of a LAN interface. The LAN interface includes a link pulse detector 16 that operates on a predetermined voltage supplied via the I/O bus 11 and detects a link pulse transmitted from a counter device connected to the connection port 15. When detecting a link pulse sent from a counter device, the link pulse detector 16 controls the LAN controller 13 and the isolation section 12 to controllably bring them to an operation state thereof. When not detecting a link pulse sent from the counter device, the link controller 13 controls the LAN controller 13 and the isolation section 12 to bring them to a non-operation state.

  • Patent number: 6655530
Abstract: The household waste treatment requires neither incineration nor disposal in landfills. Two processing sub-systems, first one for combustibles and the other or second one for incombustibles, cooperate with each other as a single system for recycling the waste. The first sub-system deals with combustible waste to yields products for fertilizing and/or conditioning soil. In the process, what are inappropriate to the production of the soil fertilizing and/or conditioning products are sent to the second sub-system, which deals with incombustible waste. This sub-system sorts the incombustible waste materials into various kinds of recyclable products. Combustibles among the incombustible waste materials are sent to the first sub-system.

  • Patent number: 6647228
Abstract: In an image forming device of the present invention, which is a tandem type, electrophotographic image forming device, a first separating/contacting mechanism mechanically lowers/raises the whole of a transfer frame holding the transfer and transport belt unit in association with the opening/closing of a front door, a second separating/contacting mechanism mechanically lowers/raises the right side of the transfer frame in association with the opening/closing of a right side door, and a third separating/contacting mechanism mechanically lowers/raises the left side of the transfer frame in association with the opening/closing of a left side door. Therefore, the handling of a paper jam can be carried out even when power supply is cut off, and the transfer frame can be separated from the photoconductor drums just by opening a door from a plurality of access directions, on a side opened.

  • Publication number: 20030099476
Abstract: An armored unit includes a side cover and a guide member. When sheet jam operation is carried out, a fixing unit is pulled out with the armored unit, and then is pushed to the rear side. This operation unlocks the lock member provided in the guide member, and a shoulder screw moves in a guide hole. Thus, the fixing unit is moved from the pulled out position toward the rear side and toward the main body of image forming device to be shifted to a receding position. On this account, it is possible to provide an image forming device ensuring sufficient space for removing a jammed sheet by hand with a small opening space.

  • Publication number: 20030098623
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a partly flat yoke having curved circumferential walls to which magnets are to be attached and having parallel flat circumferential walls which constitute main magnetic paths and whose each radial thickness is larger than that of the curved circumferential walls, by drawing a sheet of metal plate, the metal plate is held down between a die and projections of a wrinkle preventing plate provided at given angular positions around an outer circumference of a cavity of the die so as to correspond to the curved circumferential walls. Then, a punch presses down the metal plate into the cavity so that material of the metal plate extends axially into the cavity, while the material of the metal plate flows circumferentially from each side of the curved circumferential walls to sides of the parallel flat circumferential walls.

  • Patent number: 6555184
Abstract: A vehicle lamp having a front lens with marks formed by irradiating a laser beam on a surface of the lens is disclosed. The laser beam forms the shapes of a mark, and the mark includes recess grooves. Thus, even in cases where the mark is different in displayed content according to the destination of the lamp, for example, and a lamp certification mark must be formed at the same position of the front lens, the mark can be readily formed by suitably performing irradiation control of the laser beam. The method prevents formation of an outline due to a removable mold insert that appears on the inner surface of the front lens and marks formed in a conventional manner in which the removable insert is used to accommodate the changes of the mark displayed content.
