  • Patent number: 6534118
Abstract: A method for producing a light source bulb wherein a shielding film is formed on the outer peripheral face of a glass tube extending along a reference bulb axis, such that a coating for providing the shieiding film can be applied efficiently and precisely onto the outer peripheral face of the glass tube even though the shielding film is complicated in configuration. The method includes horizontally placing a light source bulb, vertically placing a coating discharging portion, moving a front edge face of the coating discharging portion close to the outer peripheral face of the shroud tube, and applying the coating by moving the coating discharging portion and the light source bulb relative to each other along a reference bulb axis and rotating the light source bulb upon the reference bulb axis while the coating is being discharged from the coating discharging portion.

  • Publication number: 20030049165
Abstract: It is an object to establish a sterilization condition and means for decreasing the amount of a remaining sterilization agent as much as possible after sterilizing a rubbery sealing tool. In a sterilizing method using gaseous hydrogen peroxide, a filling rate of a sample in a sterilization bag for a normal type is set to 45% or more and a sterilization condition is set to a hydrogen peroxide treatment of 3 pulses and an aeration pulse of 20 pulses, thereby carrying out a sterilization treatment. Furthermore, it is preferable that a volume rate in a bag of an outer bag accommodating the sterilization bag should be set to 55 to 12%. By such setting, a survival ratio of 0/10 of a bacteria cell could be realized at first to fifth times of repetition of the sterilization treatment.

  • Patent number: 6496204
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for displaying an object in a plurality of independent client areas where the relationship among the objects displayed in a plurality of client areas can be easily understood at a glance. In a display method in which a plurality of independent client areas exist and at least one of the client areas independently scrolls, this invention relates to a method of displaying a relationship between objects displayed in a plurality of client areas the relative position of which is changed by scrolling a client area. A first aspect of the invention relates to displaying by following the movement caused by scrolling. A second aspect of the invention relates to displaying by enlarging the object by the amount of movement caused by scrolling. A third aspect of the invention relates to displaying by marking a junction between objects in scrolling. In either case, correlation of objects displayed in a plurality of client areas can be visually understood at a glance easily.

  • Patent number: 6408743
Abstract: A curved-surface printing method applicable to a member exposed to a high-temperature closed atmosphere and a lamp unit to which such a method is applied. A transfer film formed by printing a transfer ink on a water-soluble film is floated on water in a water tank and then an object in the form of an extension, adapted to be arranged in a lamp unit, is downwardly pressed against the transfer film, resulting in the transfer ink being, by water pressure, transferred to the object by curved-surface printing. An activator coated on the transfer film prior to the transfer printing contains a plasticizer selected from dimethyl phthalate (DMP) and diethyl phthalate (DEP). A volatilization promoting drying treatment for volatilizing the platicizer is carried out after the transfer printing.

  • Patent number: 6395375
Abstract: When a temporary adhesive layer for peelably bonding a transfer-receiving material to a thermal transfer sheet comprising a substrate film and a heat-fusible ink layer disposed on one side thereof is caused to comprise a specific adhesive, an excellent composite thermal transfer material is provided. In such a composite thermal transfer sheet, the thermal transfer sheet is firmly bonded to the transfer-receiving material so as not to cause wrinkles or deviation, both of these members may easily be peeled from each other so that the ink layer is exactly transferred to the paper in a transfer region and it is not transferred thereto at all in a non-transfer region, whereby the transfer-receiving material is not contaminated. An antistatic treatment provides a composite thermal transfer sheet causing no trouble due to charging at the time of or after printing operation.

  • Publication number: 20010049951
Abstract: The household waste treatment requires neither incineration nor disposal in landfills. Two processing sub-systems, first one for combustibles and the other or second one for incombustibles, cooperate with each other as a single system for recycling the waste. The first sub-system deals with combustible waste to yields products for fertilizing and/or conditioning soil. In the process, what are inappropriate to the production of the soil fertilizing and/or conditioning products are sent to the second sub-system, which deals with incombustible waste. This sub-system sorts the incombustible waste materials into various kinds of recyclable products. Combustibles among the incombustible waste materials are sent to the first sub-system.
