  • Patent number: 11965469
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine having a cylinder in which an air-fuel mixture of gaseous fuel and intake air is combusted, an intake passage connected to the cylinder, and a supercharger for supercharging the intake air, in a case where backfire is generated in a set period before supercharging is performed by the supercharger, supercharging is performed at a smaller supercharging pressure than in a case where backfire is not generated in the set period.

  • Patent number: 11945438
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus includes: a follow-up-running control portion configured to execute a follow-up running control for causing a vehicle to run following a preceding vehicle with a target inter-vehicle distance; and a shift control portion configured to change a gear ratio of an automatic transmission in accordance with a predetermined shifting condition. The shift control portion is configured to set a high fluid-temperature determination value, based on information relating to the preceding vehicle that affects an air flow rate. When a fluid temperature of the automatic transmission is not lower than the high fluid-temperature determination value, the shift control portion is configured to change the shifting condition such that a higher-speed gear position making the gear ratio lower is more frequently established in the automatic transmission than when the fluid temperature of the automatic transmission is lower than the high fluid-temperature determination value.

  • Publication number: 20240075557
Abstract: A build system includes: a build apparatus including an energy beam irradiation unit, a material supply unit, and a control apparatus. The build system builds a second object above a first object including a first space. The second object includes: a first inclination part connected to the first object; a second inclination part connected to the first object; and a connection part that connects a tip of the first inclination part and a tip of the second inclination part. The build system builds the first inclination part and the second inclination part by alternately performing a building of a part of the first inclination part and a building of a part of the second inclination part. A second space below the first inclination part and the second inclination part is connected to the first space, and an upper part of the second space is closed by the connection part.

  • Publication number: 20240067158
Abstract: A vehicle including an internal combustion engine and an automatic transmission capable of transmitting and receiving torque to and from an output shaft of the internal combustion engine is controlled. During operation of the internal combustion engine, a process that calculates a diluted water amount based on an operation state of the internal combustion engine is executed. The diluted water amount is the amount of water contained in lubricating oil in the internal combustion engine. Further, a process that controls the automatic transmission such that torque per unit period in the internal combustion engine becomes smaller when the diluted water amount is relatively large compared to when the diluted water amount is relatively small, while continuing the operation of the internal combustion engine, is executed.

  • Patent number: 8984971
Abstract: In a parallel slider device with a pneumatic linear guide, the stiffness of the mechanical coupling and the air bearing stiffness are prevented from interfering each other such that the parallelism between the two sliders can be maintained at a high precision in a highly reproducible manner. A difference in the slider support stiffness (air bearing stiffness) between a first pneumatic linear guide and a second pneumatic linear guide by varying the sizes of the air gaps and the supply air pressures so that any error in the linearity is accommodated by the changes in the air gap on the side of the linear guide having a lower slider support stiffness in a stable manner.
