Abstract: A scroll compressor comprising: a vessel; a compressing mechanism provided within said vessel, the compressing mechanism comprising an orbiting scroll and a non-orbiting scroll each having a spiral wrap formed in a base plate and an Oldham ring for preventing the orbiting scroll from rotating around its axis; an oil reservoir provided within a vessel; a crankshaft for transmitting a power for compressing a working fluid; and a frame on which a main bearing for supporting the crankshaft is provided, wherein the crankshaft is provided with oil supply passages for communicating a vicinity of an orbiting bearing and a vicinity of the main bearing, and openings of the oil supply passages in the vicinity of the orbiting bearing and in the vicinity of the main bearing are positioned so that a pressure of an oil film in the orbiting bearing opening generated during an operation of the compressor is higher than a pressure of an oil film in the main bearing opening generated during an operation of the compressor.
Abstract: In a scroll compressor, generation of excessive vibration attributable to a ferrous Oldham's ring is eliminated, the fatigue failure and the operation noise are prevented, and the reliability is improved. Only an Oldham's key under sliding motion is formed of a metallic bush formed of iron excellent in the reliability in slidability, and an annular part large in volume is manufactured of light metal such as aluminum, and assembled to reduce the weight. That is, the bush excellent in wear resistance is press-fitted and locked to a light Oldham's ring formed of aluminum alloy in which a projection is integrated with the annular part. Alternatively, both sides of the projection which are the sliding sides with key grooves may be formed in arc shape.
Abstract: To resolve a problem of decreasing a heat exchange rate of a refrigerating cycle owing to a large amount of a refrigerator oil delivered from a discharge pipe to the refrigerating cycle, there is provided a sealed compressor driven by a motor having a compressor unit and a motor unit in which a ring is provided at an outer periphery of a coil end of a stator on a side of the compressor unit to reduce the amount of delivering the refrigerator oil to the refrigerating cycle and a shape of a balance weight of a rotor on the side of the compressor unit is formed in a cylindrical shape a portion of a side face of which is opened and an end face of which is flat to thereby reduce stirring of fluid.
Abstract: A closed-type electrically-driven compressor comprising a compressing mechanism portion and an electric motor portion driving the compressing mechanism portion within a closed container, which is formed to be substantially cylindrical, and a terminal fitted into a hole formed in a cover body of the closed container and welded to the cover body, and wherein a mount portion and vicinities of the terminal on the cover body of the closed container are formed into a convex-shaped portion which is protuberant from a peripheral flat portion of the cover body.
Abstract: A scroll type compressor comprises a stationary scroll and a rotary scroll which is assembled with the stationary scroll so as to define a closed space, the outer surface of the rotary scroll 22 is formed thereon with a tin compound film containing a tin compound and having a thickness of 50 .mu.m. Such a coating film is never peeled off from a member even after long time operation, and is excellent in sealability and conformability, in the displacement type compressor.
Abstract: By addition of a polyamide resin, which is compatible with rosin-based resins as the main components of liquid flux and solder paste flux, which is resistant to temperature variation and provides a damp proofing effect, and particularly a polyamide resin which is obtained by polycondensation reaction of a dicarboxylic acid of 2 to 21 carbon atoms and a diamine and has a softening point of 80.degree. to 150.degree. C., or a polyamide resin which is obtained by polycondensation reaction of a dimer acid and a diamine and has a softening point of 80.degree. to 150.degree. C., highly reliable low-viscosity liquid fluxes and solder paste fluxes, with which solderability is not impaired, where the flux residues on printed circuit boards after soldering undergoes no cracking or deterioration even under temperature variation, and which prevent poor insulation and migration even under high humidity environment, are provided.

Abstract: A distributed database management system includes a plurality of computers, each including a database for storing data files to be processed. The plurality of computers are interconnected by communication lines. Each computer has stored data file names, and corresponding address area and location information for all databases, and measures data file retrieval time from the databases. A retrieval time memory section stores data file retrieval times corresponding to the address areas of data stored in the databases. A retrieval time prediction section retrieves the data file retrieval times for data files corresponding to a data file name requested by a user when the requested data file is stored in at least two databases, utilizing stored data file retrieval times and corresponding address areas and location information on where the data file is stored.
Abstract: A method for adjusting current clock counts in a distributed database apparatus is accomplished. Each processor assigns a timestamp to a transaction according to its clock when the transaction is generated, and transaction are executed by accessing the database according to timestamp order. A processor in at least a first one of the computer sites accesses an abort count corresponding to a second computer site; compares an abort count corresponding to the first computer site with the abort count corresponding to the second computer site; and changes the current clock count corresponding to the first computer site to more closely match the current clock count corresponding to the second computer site, at times when the comparison between the abort counts in the first and second computer sites indicates that new transactions have been aborted more frequently in one of the two computer sites.
Abstract: A distributed database system comprises a plurality of sites having a computer and a database, and interconnected by communication lines. In each computer, a transaction execution section executes data processing of transaction by accessing the database, according to a transaction generated by a transaction generation section or a transaction sent by another site. A list creation section creates a list of the sites which participate in the transaction generated by the transaction generation section, and sends the list to all other sites participating in the transaction. A commit preparation process section prepares the commit processing of the transaction when the transaction execution section has finished executing the data processing of the transaction and sends a commit preparation completion message to all participation sites.
Abstract: A rotary compressor has an electric motor and a compressing mechanism drivingly connected together by a crank shaft and disposed in a closed housing. The compressing mechanism has a rolling piston rotatable in a cylinder bore and driven by an eccentric portion of the crank shaft. First, second and third balancers are mounted on an end of the crank shaft and on the opposite ends of a motor rotor, respectively. The second and third balancers are formed therein with weight-adjusting holes by which the masses of the second and third balancers are finely adjusted to fall within tolerable ranges.
Abstract: A rotary compressor has an electric motor and a compression mechanism drivingly connected thereto by a crank shaft including an eccentric portion having flangelike thrust bearing sections and an eccentric pin section on which a rolling piston is mounted for eccentric rotation in a cylinder bore. The eccentric pin section has formed therein at least one axial through-hole for reducing the mass unbalance of the pin section. The crank shaft has formed thereon coaxial sections each concentric to the axis of rotation of the crank shaft and disposed between the eccentric pin section and one of the thrust bearing sections to decrease the axial dimensions thereof and of the eccentric pin section for thereby decreasing the total mass unbalance of the eccentric portion of the crank shaft whereby crank shaft deflection due to mass unbalance is remarkably reduced particularly at a high speed operation.
Abstract: A rotary compressor has a plate-like hollow vane disposed in sliding contact with a rotary piston. The vane has an internal cavity formed by a plurality of bores each having a substantially rectangular cross-section. The corners of each bore are each formed by a curved concave surface of a radius of curvature which is greater than the thicknesses of the outer walls of the vane. The major side surfaces of the vane are in slidable contact with opposing walls of a vane slot and have surface layers each formed of an oxide film consisting mainly of tri-iron tetraoxide (Fe.sub.3 O.sub.4). The film is finished by smoothing processing, thus attaining a smaller friction between the vane major side surfaces and the vane slot walls and suppressing local wear of the vane slot walls.
Abstract: A rotary compressor has a compression mechanism including main and sub bearings closing the ends of a cylinder bore and supporting a crankshaft having an eccentric portion on which a rolling piston positioned in the cylinder bore is rotatably mounted. Oil grooves are formed in the shaft holes of the bearings to receive lubrication oil from spaces defined by the rolling piston, the crankshaft eccentric portion and the main and sub bearings. The eccentric portion and the sub bearing are sized and shaped such that the oil groove in the sub bearing is always prevented from opening to the space adjacent thereto. The drawing force generated in the oil groove in the sub bearing by the rotation of a balancer attached to the lower end of the crankshaft is thereby prevented from acting on the space, thereby avoiding cavitation abrasion of the members facing the spaces.
Abstract: A conference system, in which a buffer memory is connected to the input-output of each highway for storing all its channel data for each frame. The stored data is time-divided so that a time-length obtained by dividing one frame length by an appropriate number (for example, eight) may be the operation time length of each trunk, thereby implementing real-time processing a number of trunks. Conference circuits capable of inhibiting an output for each channel are connected in parallel to the highways. During an ordinary two-party communication operation an output on the corresponding channel of the conference circuit is inhibited, and during a conference operation an output on the corresponding channel of the highway switching circuit is inhibited, by which channels allocated to telephone sets or CO lines are used for the conference without the necessity of providing channels specifically therefor.
Abstract: A control signal transmission system for a key telephone system, in which control signal information is transmitted in a parallel signal configuration between a plurality of key telephone sets and a key service unit by the use of transmission lines one-to-one corresponding to the individual key telephone sets, and in which the information between the key telephone sets is transmitted using a serial signal format of a frame configuration so that time slots of respective frames are synchronized with respect to all of the transmission lines.
Abstract: A synchronization system for a key telephone system, in which key information or the like information signal between a key service unit and each key telephone set is transmitted in the form of a time-division pulse signal under the control of a counter provided in the key service unit. The information signal has a format which is divided into a first signal from the key service unit to each key telephone set and a second signal from each key telephone set to the key service unit so as to make distinction between the first and second signals in terms of time. The first signal is disposed in a time slot preceding the second signal to provide a pair of signal groups. A one-pulse start signal is disposed in the foremost time slot of the signal groups and a one-pulse answer signal is disposed in a time slot between the first signal and the second signal.
Abstract: A key telephone system adapted to selectively connect a plurality of key telephone sets to a plurality of CO lines through a key service unit and pluralities of talking lines and control lines and provided with a calling device in at least one of the key telephone sets, in which automatic holding of the CO line is enabled upon depression of a calling key. In case of transferring the incoming call from a receiving key telephone set to a called one of the other key telephone set, depression of the individual calling switch automatically starts calling of the called key telephone set and enables the called party to recognize the incoming call by means of lamp indication and answer the calling CO line. The number of cable conductors interconnecting the key service unit and the key telephone sets is effectively reduced.
