  • Patent number: 4853736
Abstract: There is provided an image-forming device including: a photosensitive member having a photosensitive layer including an organic photoconductive material, a charging devices, an image exposure devices for exposing the pre-transfer material to form a latent image, a developing devices for developing the latent image with a toner to form a transferable toner image on the surface of the photosensitive member, a pre-transfer exposure devices for exposing the photosensitive member carrying the toner image, and a transfer devices for transferring the toner image to a transfer material; the charging devices, image exposure devices, developing devices pre-transfer exposure devices, and transfer devices are disposed in this order along the moving direction of the photosensitive member; wherein the light from the pre-transfer exposure devices is scattered light and the intensity of the scattered light is two or more times that of the light used for the image exposure.

  • Patent number: 4729696
Abstract: A cartridge for use in fixing an anchor bolt that encludes a fluidtight constructed casing having therein a first fluidtight chamber and a second fluidtight chamber separated from the first chamber, the first chamber containing a resin composed mainly of an ester of an epoxy resin with an organic acid comprising acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or a mixture thereof, the second chamber containing a curing agent for the resin. By the use of such a cartridge in fixing an anchor bolt to a base, there can be attained a quick fixation of the anchor bolt to the base, a high adhesive strength between the anchor bolt and the base, and a high chemical resistance of the cured resin, with little or no lowering of the adhesive strength for an prolonged period of time.

  • Patent number: 4628019
Abstract: A substantially nonmagnetic toner comprising a colorant and a binder comprising a homopolymer or copolymer having a ratio (Mw/Mn) of a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of a number average molecular weight (Mn) of less than 5.0 is formed in a thin layer on a toner carrying member. The layer of toner is carried to a developing zone at which an image bearing member is disposed to face the toner carrying member with a clearance larger than the toner layer thickness and an electrostatic image on the image bearing member is developed with the thin layer of toner. The toner binder resin preferably comprises a copolymer of a vinyl monomer and an amonoacrylic monomer.
