  • Patent number: 7737602
Abstract: A rotor core which has relatively high rigidity, can ensure sufficient magnetic performance, and can be produced at a cheaper cost with a relatively small-scale facility. A claw-equipped core and a yoke are manufactured separately. After fitting the yoke to a fitting portion formed in the claw-equipped core, a part of the claw-equipped core in the vicinity of the fitting portion is axially pressed to plastically flow into an annular groove formed in the yoke, thereby integrally joining the claw-equipped core and the yoke to each other. Thus, a large-scaled manufacturing facility is not required, and claws of the claw-equipped core are hard to open in the radial direction even under the action of a centrifugal force during high-speed rotation. A stator core and the claws of the claw-equipped core can be positioned closer to each other, and deterioration of magnetic performance can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20100103470
Abstract: Line spacing values in a document image are extracted and a variance is calculated for fluctuations in the line spacing values. When the calculated variance is higher than a preset threshold value, the document image is determined as having watermark information embedded therein. Such use of the variance in the line spacing values enables high-speed determination of the presence or absence of line-spacing watermark information. At this time, it is possible to speed up the determination by using only some line spacing values in the document, instead of using all line spacing values.

Abstract: Character spacing values in a document image are extracted and a variance is calculated for fluctuations in the character spacing values. When the calculated variance is lower than a preset threshold value, the document image is determined as having watermark information embedded therein. Such use of the variance in the character spacing values enables high-speed determination of the presence or absence of character-spacing watermark information. At this time, it is possible to speed up the determination by using only some character spacing values in the document, instead of using all character spacing values.

  • Patent number: 7684613
Abstract: In a method for aligning three-dimensional shape data obtained by performing a three-dimensional measurement of an object, photogrammetry of the object with a target mark is performed to obtain a three-dimensional position and a normal vector of the target mark by a calculation, and the three-dimensional measurement of the object is performed to obtain a three-dimensional position and a normal vector of the target mark. Then, determined is a correspondence between the three-dimensional position of the target mark obtained by the photogrammetry and the three-dimensional position of the target mark obtained by the three-dimensional measurement, by using the three-dimensional position and the normal vector of the target mark obtained by the photogrammetry and those of the target mark obtained by the three-dimensional measurement, and three-dimensional shape data obtained by the three-dimensional measurement is aligned based on the correspondence between the three-dimensional-positions of the target marks.

  • Publication number: 20090278884
Abstract: A fluid ejecting apparatus includes an ejection head having an ejection surface with a nozzle region and a capping device that contacts the ejection surface. The capping device includes first and second contact members held by a cap body. When the first contact member contacts the ejection surface, a surface of the first contact member surrounds the nozzle region. The second contact member is formed in a closed frame-shape to be disposed outside a surface of the first contact member opposite the surface of the first contact member. The cap body includes first and second suction ports. The first suction port decompresses a first space formed between the first contact member and the ejection surface when the capping device contacts the ejection head. The second suction port decompresses a second space formed between the second contact member and the ejection surface when the capping device contacts the ejection head.

  • Patent number: 7613437
Abstract: If a sub broadcast is unavailable so a reception means receives the main broadcast instead of the sub broadcast, reception of the sub broadcast is booked. When the sub broadcast is booked and the sub broadcast becomes available, the reception means automatically receives the sub broadcast booked instead of the main broadcast. Accordingly, reception of the sub broadcast can start automatically when the sub broadcast starts, without inputting instructions to select the sub broadcast repeatedly, whereby operation performed by a user can be simplified.
