  • Patent number: 8833325
Abstract: An in-vehicle engine start control apparatus stops a fuel injection instruction after rotationally driving a DC electric motor preliminarily by issuing a rotational driving instruction when an automatic stop condition is satisfied, and subsequently restarts the in-vehicle engine by issuing a push control instruction to a pinion gear immediately before a circumferential speed of a ring gear decelerating by inertia is synchronized with a circumferential speed of the pinion gear rotationally driven preliminarily to rotate and by issuing the rotational driving instruction and the fuel injection instruction again because a restart request is already issued or is issued with a delay when the push driving is completed.

  • Publication number: 20140257632
Abstract: When a power supply switch is fed with power from a DC power supply and closed, a power supply unit starts power feeding to an opening and closing command generation unit and continues the power feeding by a self-hold command signal from the opening and closing command generation unit. A reverse connection protective element is a field-effect transistor connected in series to the power supply switch and driven to conduct current in an energization direction of an internal parasitic diode when the power supply is connected in proper polarity. Even when a supply fault abnormality is occurring due to fault contact between a positive-side wire of an in-vehicle electrical load connected to the reverse connection protective element and a positive-electrode wire of the DC power supply, the self-hold command signal is cancelled by determining that the power supply switch is opened while the reverse connection protective element is opened.

  • Publication number: 20140239713
Abstract: Power supply current is supplied to a plurality of electric loads, the power supply current being generated by a DC power supply, flowing in and branching from a shared power supply switching device and then flowing in reverse connection protection devices that are a field-effect transistor and connected in series to the electric loads, respectively. The reverse connection protection devices are connected in a polarity such that the power supply current flows in the forward direction of parasitic diodes generated between the source terminal S and the drain terminal D of the field-effect transistor. When the current in the field-effect transistor is less than a predetermined value, a gate control circuit interrupts the gate voltage of the reverse connection protection device to cause the reverse connection protection device to open.

  • Publication number: 20140202436
Abstract: A valve is configured to control an opening in a passage. A valve angle sensor is configured to send an electric signal according to a rotation angle of the valve. In a storing process, an actual measurement value of a valve angle at a mechanical full open position is stored as an actual full open valve angle. In a first setting process, a first output value at a mechanical full close position is set. In a second setting process, a second output value at the stored actual full open valve angle is set. The output characteristic is set as an angle to output value relation according to the first output value and the second output value.

  • Publication number: 20140155289
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a method of analyzing nucleic acid. The nucleic acid analysis method includes subjecting a sample to an amplifying reaction using first and second primers, reacting an amplification product with a nucleic acid probe, measuring presence/absence of hybridization and/or a quantity thereof, and determining presence/absence of a target nucleic acid in the sample and/or a quantity of target nucleic acid. The amplification product obtained with the first or second primer forms a stem-and-loop structural body. With the detection of the presence/absence of the hybridization between a nucleic acid probe for the loop structure and the amplification product, and/or the amount thereof, the nucleic acid analysis is carried out on the sample.
