Patent number: 8437052Abstract: A clearing section includes a counter for measuring a period up to the reset of contents set by means of an operation panel to initial values. If a position discriminating section discriminates that the operation panel is at a first position, the clearing section starts measuring the period by means of the counter from the first entry made to the operation panel. When a count value reaches a predetermined value, the clearing section executes an automatic clear processing to reset the contents set by means of the operation panel to the initial values. On the other hand, the clearing section cancels the execution of the automatic clear processing if the position discriminating section discriminates that the operation panel is at a second position.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2007Date of Patent: May 7, 2013Assignee: Kyocera Mita CorporationInventor: Koji Maeda

Patent number: 8346180Abstract: A transceiver includes an oscillator and a plurality of communication blocks. Each of the communication blocks includes frequency dividers and mixers. Frequency dividing number of the frequency divider included in one communication block is set to an even-numbered integer, and transmission local signals supplied from the frequency dividers to the mixer become quadrature signals having a phase difference of 90 degrees. The frequency dividing number of another frequency divider in the another communication block is set to a non-integer, and communication local signals supplied from the frequency divider to the mixers become non-quadrature signals having a phase difference at a predetermined offset angle from 90 degrees. The transceiver further includes a converting unit for giving a compensation offset amount having almost the same absolute value and having a polarity opposite to that of the offset angle to communication analog signals related to the mixer of the another communication block.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2011Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: Renesas Electronics CorporationInventors: Hiroshi Kamizuma, Satoshi Tanaka, Taizo Yamawaki, Yukinori Akamine, Koji Maeda

Publication number: 20120320957Abstract: The transmitter of the transceiver includes: a transmitter-side mixers of a transmitter-side modulator; a transmitter-side voltage-controlled oscillator; and a transmitter-side divider. The divider having a dividing factor of a non-integral number is supplied with an oscillating output of the oscillator. A pair of non-quadrature local signals having a phase difference of 90° plus a predetermined offset angle is produced by the divider and supplied to the mixers. The transmitter includes a phase-shift unit which converts a pair of quadrature transmit signals having a phase difference of about 90° on an analog basis into a pair of non-quadrature shifted transmit signals. Consequently, quadrature modulation is performed by the mixers. Use of a similar configuration enables the reduction in interference of an RF signal with local signals supplied to receiver-side mixers of the receiver.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2012Publication date: December 20, 2012Inventors: Satoshi TANAKA, Hiroshi Kamizuma, Koji Maeda, Sungwoo Cha, Yukinori Akamine, Taizo Yamawaki

HYBRID-TYPE POLYESTER RESIN, RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FORMATION OF FILM, AND POLYESTER FILM AND TEXTILE
Publication number: 20120277381Abstract: Provided is a hybrid-type polyester resin which, when used in processing a base material such as textile or PET film, can impart excellent flame retardance to the base material. The hybrid-type polyester resin can be inhibited from scattering high-temperature drips, even if the hybrid-type polyester resin burns. The hybrid-type polyester resin comprises both a polyester resin and a siloxane prepared from silica and an alkoxysilane. Therefore, the hybrid-type polyester resin retains the excellent properties inherent in polyester resin and exhibits extremely excellent flame retardance by virtue of hybridization with the siloxane. Even if the hybrid-type polyester resin burns, the hybrid-type polyester resin is less susceptible to deformation, and is therefore inhibited from scattering high-temperature drips.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2010Publication date: November 1, 2012Inventors: Koji Maeda, Yusuke Numamoto -

Patent number: 8159556Abstract: It is an object of this invention to reduce image sensing errors due to wrong white balance control using wrong color temperature information in an image sensing device capable of performing white balance control using a color image signal from an image sensing device. In order to attain the above object, when the color in the vicinity of the locus of a blackbody cannot be extracted in detection of a color temperature in a color image signal, color temperature information is corrected on the basis of a piece of color temperature information output from a calorimetric sensor, thereby controlling the white balance of a color image signal output from an image sensing element. The number of achromatic data extracted from the color image signal is counted. The color temperature is calculated by weighting a color temperature obtained from the color image signal and that obtained from the calorimetric sensor in accordance with the count, thereby performing white balance control.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2008Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Koji Maeda
