  • Publication number: 20100098137
Abstract: An A/D converted and inputted signal is stored in a memory. A sliding correlator sequentially reads the signal stored in the memory and despreads this signal. A despreading timing is adjusted and then the candidate for a despreading code is outputted from a code generation circuit. The despreading code outputted at a predetermined timing is used for obtaining a correlation value of signals outputted from the memory, using the sliding correlator. Thus, by storing signals in the memory, fluctuation of a correlation value caused by fading does not occur while specifying a code or detecting a despreading timing.

  • Patent number: 7023904
Abstract: Disclosed is a synchronization tracking circuit for synchronizing the phase of a despreading code sequence on a receiving side to the phase of a spreading code sequence on a transmitting side. The synchronization tracking circuit has a DLL circuit for performing synchronization tracking by DLL (Delay Locked Loop) control, and an interference-component estimation unit for estimating an interference component inflicted by another path upon a prescribed path of interest among multiple paths. The DLL circuit, which has an interference elimination unit, executes DLL control based upon a signal from which the interference component from the other path has been eliminated and causes the phase of the despreading code sequence on the receiving side to be synchronized with and track the phase of the spreading code on the transmitting side.

  • Publication number: 20040170238
Abstract: A frequency synchronizing apparatus synchronizes the oscillation frequency of a receiving device to the oscillation frequency of a transmitting device. The frequency synchronizing apparatus receives, from the transmitting device, frames in which symbols having identical time profiles have been embedded, calculates a correlation value between the identical time profile portions in neighboring frames of a receive signal, obtains the phase of the correlation value (a complex number) as a frequency deviation between the transmitting device and the receiving device, and controls oscillation frequency based upon the phase.
