    Abstract: There is disclosed an inkjet recording apparatus including a feeding device, a remover, and an inkjet head. The feeding device feeds a recording medium along a feed path passing through a removing area. A part of an opposingly-feeding surface extends opposed to the ink jet head and along the feed path, and the removing area is located under the opposingly-feeding surface and within the opposingly-feeding surface as seen in a vertical direction. The remover removes foreign matter from a surface of the recording medium during the recording medium is fed through the removing area by the feeding device. The inkjet head is disposed downstream of the remover with respect to a feeding direction in which the recording medium is fed. The inkjet head has an ink ejection surface in which a nozzle is open, and an ink droplet is ejected from the nozzle toward a recording surface of the recording medium while the recording medium is fed along at least a part of the opposingly-feeding surface.

    Abstract: There is disclosed an inkjet recording apparatus including a feeding device, a medium supply device, a remover, and an inkjet head. The feeding device includes a plurality of belt rollers and an endless feeder belt wound around the belt rollers. An outer circumferential surface of the feeder belt functions as a feeding surface on which a recording medium is held while the recording medium is fed. The medium supply device makes the recording medium held on a downward-facing surface of the feeder belt with a recording surface of the recording medium facing downward. The downward-facing surface is a portion of the feeding surface which faces downward. The remover removes foreign matter on the recording surface of the recording medium as being held on the downward-facing surface. The inkjet head has a nozzle from which a droplet of ink is ejected onto the recording surface of the recording medium as being held on an upward-facing surface of the feeder belt.

    Abstract: A process for manufacturing a bipolar type semiconductor device in which at least a part of a region where an electron and a hole are recombined during current flowing is formed with a silicon carbide epitaxial layer that has been grown from the surface of a silicon carbide substrate, is characterized by that the surface of the silicon carbide substrate is treated by hydrogen etching and the epitaxial layer is then formed by the epitaxial growth of silicon carbide from the treated surface. A propagation of a basal plane dislocation to the epitaxial layer can be further reduced by treating the surface of the silicon carbide substrate by using chemical mechanical polishing and hydrogen etching in this order.

    Abstract: When there is a difference in moving speed of an endless belt in a widthwise direction, a printing sheet fed by this endless belt becomes inclined, and a pattern to be printed becomes inclined or distorted. To deal with this problem, a first detector for detecting moving speed is formed on one side edge of the endless belt, and a second detector for detecting moving speed is formed on the other side edge belt. Standard time is determined on the basis of a difference between the values detected by the first and the second detectors. The standard time is determined for each position along the width of the endless belt. Ink discharging time for each ink jet nozzle is determined on the basis of the standard time that has been determined, and on the basis of a pattern to be printed. The effects of the inclination of the printing sheet can be cancelled out, and a printed pattern can be obtained that is the same as when printing on a sheet that was not inclined.
