  • Patent number: 7557483
Abstract: A stator coil is configured of a first group of six turns of conductive wire, and a second group also of six turns, with the first group of six turns being wound on a spool, leaving a gap the same as the diameter of the conductive wire between winds. Upon completion of winding the first group, the winding is turned back, and the second group of six turns is wound in the gap, so as to be adjacent to the turns of the first group. The article is then inserted into a slot in a stator core of a stator, thereby configuring a stator coil. This provides for a rotating electrical machine and manufacturing method thereof with improved insulation resistivity regarding inverter surge voltage, and moreover high output can be obtained with a machine of comparable external dimensions with conventional machines.

  • Patent number: 7496675
Abstract: FIG. 3B shows buffer occupancy rate of a transport stream buffer 21 when a TS packet is transferred to the transport stream buffer 21 having a transport rate Rt and a leak rate Rx. A time T1 during which the buffer occupancy rate of the transport stream buffer 21 increases and a time T2 during which the buffer occupancy rate of the transport stream buffer 21 decreases are expressed by (Rt?Rx)×T1=Rx×T2 and T1=(188×8)/Rt. A time T is T=T1+T2=(188×8)/Rx. Therefore, the time T is equal to a time T? shown in FIG. 3C. Thus, when a TS packet is transferred in a cycle of the time T?, the transport stream buffer 21 will not overflow and the transport stream buffer 21 becomes empty at least once a second, whereby simulation for the transport stream buffer 21 is not required in the simulation for the T-STD model.

  • Patent number: 6795498
Abstract: An image processing system comprising a decoder 10 and an encoder 30. The decoder 10 comprises a section 12 for decoding a bit stream to generate image data, generating coding parameters for each layer and generating an error flag indicating whether the coding parameters can be effectively used. The encoder 30 comprises a control section 41, an MB-parameter calculating section 36, an encoding section 38 and a variable-length encoding section 39. The section 41 determines, from the error flag, whether or not the coding parameters can be effectively used or not. The section 36 calculates coding parameters when the coding parameters generated by the section 12 are invalid. The sections 38 and 39 encodes the image data by using the coding parameters generated by the section 12 when these parameters are valid, and by using the coding parameters calculated by the section 36 when the coding parameters generated by the section 12 are invalid.

  • Publication number: 20030142747
Abstract: A bit stream generated in a first encoding process is supplied to an MPEG decoder. The MPEG decoder outputs decoded pictures. The decoded pictures are supplied as input decoded pictures to a frame memory through a recording/reproducing system. The frame memory supplies the input decoded pictures to an MPEG encoder and an MAD calculating circuit at a predetermined timing. The MAD calculating circuit calculates a MAD value (the sum of the differences between a mean value and each pixel value). A high pass filter extracts high frequency components from the input decoded pictures corresponding to the calculated result. The extracted high frequency components are supplied to a B picture determining circuit. The B picture determining circuit determines the picture type of the input decoded pictures corresponding to the high frequency components and supplies the determined result to the MPEG encoder. The MPEG encoder locks GOP phases of the input decoded pictures corresponding to the determined result.
