  • Publication number: 20060101618
Abstract: An opening and closing device structured simple yet it effectively prevents the fixed cam, movable cam and other constituent components from being damaged to ensure reliable operation of opening and closing. The opening and closing device includes a fixed member, a movable member, a spring and a case. The fixed member is provided at a side with a fixed cam. The movable member is disposed so that it can rotate with respect to the fixed member, and provided at the side opposing to the fixed cam with a movable cam. The spring is for keeping the movable cam and the fixed cam in a state of elastic contact. The case has a substantially round cylindrical shape, and houses these items. There is a guiding mechanism formed between the case and the movable member for supporting the movable member so that it can move in the axis direction, which guiding mechanism is provided with a section of broader width at the end part facing to the fixed member.

  • Patent number: 7007345
Abstract: An opening and closing device includes a rotor pressed by a rotor spring and a reverse-rotor pressed by reverse-rotor spring, of which rotor cam and reverse-rotor cam are respectively placed at a certain position of stator cam. With this construction, rotor is urged in an opening direction in the opening condition and urged in a closing direction in the closing condition with respect to stator. A release cam pushes the reverse-rotor cam by moving a releaser along an axis, so that the device opens.

  • Publication number: 20060045260
Abstract: An opening mechanism has a guide mechanism which holds the movable body in such a manner as to be slidable in the predetermined direction with respect to the planar solid body. This structure allows the solid body, the movable body and the guide bodies to be made of planar materials such as a steel plate, thereby enabling the opening mechanism to have a thinner profile. In addition, these components can be produced by a comparatively simple process such as press working, making it possible to provide a less expensive opening mechanism. A thin electronic device using this opening mechanism is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060039552
Abstract: An opening and closing device and electronic equipment using the device. The stator and the rotor of the device, which are accommodated in the rotary case, have a hollow cylinder shape. Employing such a shape allows the device to have a hollow section that runs through in the axial direction. In electronic equipment using the device, the wiring section including a lead wire and a wiring board for electrically connecting between the fix housing and the movable housing can be laid through the hollow section. That is, the structure of the device can eliminate a space for retaining the wiring section, encouraging downsizing of the equipment.

  • Publication number: 20050254456
Abstract: A transmitter apparatus 1 transmits transfer data having a predetermined amount to a receiver apparatus. The apparatus 1 includes: a data packet generating section 132 dividing the transfer data into multiple divisional data sets; an error detection/correction code adding section 133 adding an error detection code (error detection information) by which an error in the divisional data sets is detected to each of the divisional data sets; and a transmitter section 14 transmitting the multiple divisional data sets to which the error detection code is added all together. Thus, data transfer is very reliable. It takes less time to transfer data.

  • Patent number: 6928732
Abstract: An arbitrary position of a pipe is clamped and a connector is engaged with the pipe. Then, an end portion of the pipe is expanded with a tool such as a diameter expanding punch so as to caulk the pipe to the connector from inside. As a pipe fluctuation-absorbing portion, which is a relief space of pipe material, is provided in a portion of an inner face of the connector, when the diameter-expanding portion is formed, an excess pipe material is absorbed there and the length of the pipe is reduced and adjusted to an appropriate value. A portion in which the pipe fluctuation-absorbing portion is formed is not limited to a forward end portion of the pipe but it may be formed on an inner face of the connector corresponding to an intermediate portion.

  • Publication number: 20050157699
Abstract: In a data communications device, if a data comparator section determines that one of two transceivers transmit/receive data, a control section returns data received from one of the transceivers with which communications are possible via that transceiver, not via the other transceiver with which communications are determined to be impossible. Therefore, even when a channel or data communications device of a data communications system experiences trouble, the whole data communications system can be prevented from being unusable.

  • Patent number: 6886221
Abstract: A folding device contains a stationary part, a movable part disposed to be rotatable in flip-up (unfolding) and flip-down (folding) directions, a force-applying section disposed between the two parts, which urges the movable part in either direction according to a state of the movable part, a reversing section for allowing the force-applying section to change a direction of urging of the movable part into the flip-up (unfolding) direction when the movable part is in a folded state, and an actuator for operating the reversing section. Pressing the actuator being in the folded state allows the reversing section to switch the direction of urging of the movable part into flip-up (unfolding) direction. In the electronic equipment of the present invention, the stationary and the movable housings are connected to the stationary and the movable parts of the folding device, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20050080935
Abstract: A host-side control section of a host-side controller, when having received a SOF packet transmitted from a host to a device, avoids transmission of the received SOF packet to a device side. A device-side control section of a device-side controller transmits a SOF packet to the device at a predetermined interval after connection between the host and the device has been established. This eliminates the need for SOF packet transmission between the controllers. Thus, a communication bandwidth between the controllers of low communication speeds can be used only for packets other than the SOF packet. This increases communication efficiency of these other packets.

  • Publication number: 20050071733
Abstract: A two-way transmission system of the present invention is arranged in such a manner that, when a host-side controller confirms the receipt of an IN packet from a USB host, the host-side controller transfers the IN packet to a function-side controller, and receives a DATA packet from the function side. The received DATA packet is temporarily stored in a FIFO. At the time of the receipt of the IN packet again, the host-side controller supplies, to the USB host, the DATA packet stored in the FIFO.

  • Publication number: 20040184600
Abstract: Inclined plane is provided at the tip of rotor cam. On the other hand, inclined planes are also provided in specific positions of stator cam. Because of this structure, in the specific positions, the inclined planes are in resilient contact with each other. Thus, the load is increased only in the specific positions without an increase in the load of spring. This structure can provide an opening and closing device capable of securely holding only desired positions without affecting the feel of opening and closing operation of the entire device, and electronic equipment using the device.
