Abstract: An opening and closing device and an electronic apparatus using this device. In an urging section, a movable member including a movable cam on its side is urged by a spring. A slide member includes, at its end, a stationary cam, opposed to the movable cam, for resiliently contacting the movable cam. The movable member is urged in opening and closing directions in open and closed states, respectively according to which portion of the stationary cam resiliently contacts the movable cam. A reversing section includes a release member including a release cam resiliently contacting a support cam at the other end of the slide member, and a reversing member inserted into the slide member and including a reversing cam. When the release cam is disconnected from the support cam, the slide member slides axially, whereby the movable cam is disconnected from the stationary cam and resiliently contacts the reversing cam.

  • Publication number: 20040045151
Abstract: An arbitrary position of a pipe is clamped and a connector is engaged with the pipe. Then, an end portion of the pipe is expanded with a tool such as a diameter expanding punch so as to caulk the pipe to the connector from inside. As a pipe fluctuation-absorbing portion, which is a relief space of pipe material, is provided in a portion of an inner face of the connector, when the diameter-expanding portion is formed, an excess pipe material is absorbed there and the length of the pipe is reduced and adjusted to an appropriate value. A portion in which the pipe fluctuation-absorbing portion is formed is not limited to a forward end portion of the pipe but it may be formed on an inner face of the connector corresponding to an intermediate portion.

  • Patent number: 6695712
Abstract: A golf club head (11) has an ellipsoid of inertia (12) with its center at a center of gravity G. When the ellipsoid of inertia (12) is virtually cut with a plane passing through the center of gravity of the golf club head (11) and being parallel to a face surface (11f), a major axis of a plane ellipse (13) appearing on its cut surface forms an angle of &thgr; with an intersecting line (15) of the cut surface and a ground surface (16). The major axis extends upward and away from the ground surface (16) as it approaches a toe part (11t). The angle &thgr; is not smaller than 0.5° and not larger than 9.5°. An aspect ratio a/b defined by a ratio of the length a of the major axis (13d) to the length b of a minor axis (13e) of the plane ellipse (13) is not smaller than 1 and not larger than 4.

  • Publication number: 20030153284
Abstract: The folding device contains a stationary part; a movable part disposed rotatable in flip-up and flip-down directions; a force-applying section disposed between the two parts, which urges the movable part in either direction according to the state of the movable part; a reversing section for allowing the force-applying section to change direction of urging the movable part into the flip-up direction when the movable part has a folded state; and a actuator for operating the reversing section. Pressing the actuator being in the folded state allows the reversing section to switch direction of urging the movable part into flip-up direction. In the electronic equipment of the present invention, the stationary and the movable housings are connected to the stationary and the movable parts of the folding device, respectively. The structures can provide a folding device equipped with a simple one-hand flipping-up, and electronic equipment using the device.

  • Publication number: 20020018492
Abstract: A transmission method according to the present invention is capable of transmitting and receiving a data signal and information signal among a plurality of devices by full-duplex operation, wherein, when the information signal consecutively repeats a single pattern, a different pattern is inserted between the same patterns before transmission thereof. This minimizes an adverse effect of crosstalk jitter over a transmission line susceptible to crosstalk, and reduces a margin between the transition and sampling point of a signal, thereby suppressing the cost of a CDR circuit.

  • Patent number: 6306778
Abstract: When aging processing is performed, a ratio of water vapor contained in a processing gas is made comparatively large for a certain period of time from start of the processing, whereby it is accelerated for collides of TEOS to be gelled and chained in a network form, so that heating is further uniformly performed for the wafer W. Thereafter, the ratio of water vapor in the processing gas is decreased, so that a water content which is contained in the insulating film material after the aging processing can be reduced in amount.
