  • Patent number: 5627344
Abstract: A multilayer ceramic circuit substrate having therein internal conductor patterns comprising W and/or Mo as a main component and surface conductor patterns comprising Cu as a main component formed onto a surface layer of the multilayer ceramic circuit substrate, wherein an intermediate metal layer comprising 40 to 90 wt. % of W and/or Mo and 10 to 60 wt. % of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ir, Pt, Ti, and Cr is formed in through-holes of the surface layer and on parts of the surface layer in the vicinity of the through holes on the surface layer, whereby the internal conductor patterns and the surface conductor patterns are electrically connected through the intermediate metal layer. The alumina multilayer ceramic circuit substrate provides an excellent bonding strength and electrical conductivity between the internal conductors and the surface conductors and enables high precision wiring and miniaturization of an electronic circuit part.

  • Patent number: 4836710
Abstract: An underground tank having a leak detection mechanism, wherein a conduit is opened into a gap formed between an inner tank in which a fluid is to be contained and an outer tank covering the inner tank, a prescribed pressure of gas is applied to the gap through the conduit and the change in the pressure of gas in the conduit is detected by a detecting device, so that a leak of tank can be investigated. A thin sheet is wound on the outside surface of the inner tank so that the narrow gap is formed between the inner tank and the outer tank.

  • Patent number: 4798496
Abstract: An underground tank having a leak detection mechanism, wherein a narrow gap is provided between an inner tank in which a liquid is to be contained and an outer tank covering the inner tank, a conduit is opened into the gap and a float is provided in the conduit, so that a leak of tank can be detected from the position of the float. A thin sheet is wound on the outside surface of the inner tank so that the narrow gap is defined between the inner tank and the outer tank.

  • Patent number: 4767108
Abstract: An elastic bushing assembly including a rigid sleeve member disposed radially inwardly of an outer sleeve, the sleeve member having a radial flange extending radially outwardly from one axial end thereof, an elastic member interposed between the outer sleeve and the sleeve member, an inner sleeve disposed radially inwardly of the sleeve member, a sliding member interposed between the inner sleeve and the sleeve member and slidable relative to one of the inner sleeve and the sleeve member. A retainer member is located at one axial end of the inner sleeve corresponding to the radial flange of the sleeve member, and a sealing rubber member is in pressed abutting contact with the radial flange of the sleeve member and the retainer member, so as to provide sealing therebetween. The rubber member includes two radially spaced-apart annular sealing lips whose diameters increase in an axially outward direction of the sleeve member away from the radial flange.

  • Patent number: 4442702
Abstract: A method of inspecting storage tanks for leaks by means of pressure decrease and increase in the tanks, in which a part of a liquid 6 stored in a tank 1 is discharged to put the tank 1 under vacuum and variations in the pressure in the tank 1 with time are checked, the pressure in the tank 1 is thereafter increased to the level of the atmospheric pressure, and then the liquid which was discharged from the tank is poured back thereinto to put the tank under pressure and variations in the pressure in the tank with time are checked. The method is done by an apparatus designed for inspecting storage tanks for leaks by means of pressure decrease and increase in the tanks, having an air pipe (2), a measuring pipe (3), a liquid feed pipe (4), a liquid suction pipe (5) and an air-tight container (7), which are communicated with a tank (1) to be inspected, a pressure regulator pump (8) connected to the air-tight container (7), and a manometer (11) and a recording air gauge (10) connected to the measuring pipe (3).
