  • Publication number: 20070088829
Abstract: Two logical partitions within a single computer communicate with each other internally. The protocol stack of a first logical partition generates a frame in a memory space provided in a driver and referred to by the first logical partition. The driver transfers the frame generated in the memory space of the first logical partition to a communication port of a Layer 2 switch using DMA. The communication port of the Layer 2 switch loops back the frame input from the driver. An interrupt is signaled to the driver and the frame is transferred from communication port of the Layer 2 switch to the driver using DMA. The frame is received in a memory space referred to by a second logical partition.

  • Publication number: 20070083672
Abstract: Logical partitions in an information processing apparatus share an IP address and are assigned different MAC addresses. A representative logical partition communicates with an external entity on behalf of the other logical partitions. A driver is provided with a virtual interface and a physical interface. Internal communication between the logical partitions is done via the virtual interface and communication with an external entity is done via the physical interface. If a packet received from an external destination is destined to one of the other logical partitions, the protocol stack of the representative logical partition replaces the destination MAC address by the MAC address of the destination logical partition. The protocol stack provides the packet in which the destination MAC address has been replaced to the virtual interface. The virtual interface transfers the packet provided by the protocol stack to the destination logical partition.

  • Publication number: 20070042068
Abstract: An outer ring of a load cell is mounted on a pusher plate. A rotation transmission member mounting portion is extended from an inner ring of the load cell, and a rotation transmission member connected to an injection screw is supported by the rotation transmission member mounting portion through a bearing. A resin pressure applied to the injection screw is applied to the inner ring of the load cell through the rotation transmission member and the rotation transmission member mounting portion, and the distortion generating portion is distorted to detect the resin pressure. A rotation deflection of the bearing generated when the rotation transmission member is rotated by external power is absorbed by the thin portion (necking portion) formed on the rotation transmission member mounting portion.

  • Publication number: 20060292257
Abstract: The invention provides an injection molding machine injection unit that eliminates adverse effects on the load cell of belt tension due to belt drive. A load cell that detects resin pressure is mounted on a pusher plate and a rotation-transmitting member, on which an injection screw is fixedly mounted, is axially supported by an inner annular part of the load cell. The shaft of a pulley is axially supported on the pusher plate and coupled by splines to the rotation-transmitting member. A screw rotation motor is mounted on motor mounts of a housing mounted on the rear surface of the pusher plate. Tension on a belt run between the pulley and a pulley mounted on the motor output shaft concentrates a force at the base of the motor mounts. However, the housing is separate from the pusher plate and fixedly mounted on the pusher plate at a location other than that occupied by the base of the motor mounts.

  • Publication number: 20060109591
Abstract: A method for making substrates is disclosed. The method comprises providing a rod, which is made out of a substrate material and has an outside diameter substantially the same size as the outside diameter of a finished substrate and an inside diameter substantially the same size as the inside diameter of the finished substrate. The rod is cut with a multi-wire cutter to make a substrate slice substantially the same size as a finished substrate. The multi-wire cutter has wires positioned to substantially match the final thickness of the finished substrate. Additionally the cutting process is facilitated by using slurry and by providing a rocking motion between the rod and the wires of the multi-wire cutter so that the wires contact the rod in a rocking motion with respect to a normal to the center of the rod.

  • Patent number: 7039019
Abstract: A telephone exchanging apparatus 30 comprises a joined terminal table 341, a joined terminal table operating portion 352, and a reception side designating portion 355. The joined terminal table 341 stores terminal identification information that identifies a telephone terminal 40 that will join a conference. The joined terminal table operating portion 352 operates the joined terminal table 341 corresponding to joined terminal table operation commanding information. The reception side designating portion 355 designates the reception side of a speech packet transmitted from the telephone terminal 40. Since the joined terminal table 341 is operated by the joined terminal table operating portion 352, even if the number of people who join a conference increases, they can be easily added or deleted.

  • Publication number: 20060073228
Abstract: A driven pulley is attached via a bearing to a first housing that can move in the axial direction of injection. This driven pulley is connected to a rotation transmitting member by a spline coupling. An injection screw is fastened to this rotation transmitting member. Furthermore, this rotation transmitting member is attached to a second housing via a bearing so as to move in the axial direction. The first housing and second housing are respectively fastened to the outer ring part and inner 0ring part of a load detection device. Since the first and second housings are capable of relative movement in the axial direction of an injection shaft, no pre-load is generated in the load detection device. Movement of the driven pulley caused by the tension of the mounted belt is checked by a bearing. No frictional force is generated in the spline coupling part. Accordingly, the resin pressure that is applied to the injection screw can be accurately measured by the load detection device.

  • Publication number: 20050208176
Abstract: An injection unit in which an offset load is not applied to a ball screw for moving an injection screw. A pusher plate is provided that is moved while being guided by guide rods extending between front and rear plates, and is mounted with the injection screw and the ball screw so as to be rotatable but axially immovable. The ball screw is threadedly engaged with a nut mounted to the rear plate so as to be unrotatable and axially immovable. A support plate is coupled through coupling rods to the pusher plate. The ball screw has another end supported on the support plate in a rotatable but axially immovable manner. The pusher and support plates are supported on a base by linear motion guides. The ball screw is supported at its both ends by the pusher and support plates so as not to be tilted, whereby no offset load is produced and the service life is prolonged.

  • Publication number: 20050210499
Abstract: A distribution method of a content appropriately collects and supplies usage fees of contents when transmitting/receiving contents between terminal devices on an ad-hoc network. When transmitting/receiving contents between terminal devices, processing of reducing fee information of a content from outstanding amount information stored in a storage medium of the terminal device is performed when receiving the content from another terminal device. At the time of transmitting a content to another terminal device, a virtual outstanding amount information is acquired by subtracting transmit restricting information associated with the transmission of the content from the outstanding amount stored in the storage medium. When the virtual outstanding amount reaches to a predetermined value, transmission of a content to other terminal devices is restricted.
