  • Patent number: 7057706
Abstract: A laser exposure device at which alignment marks of a plate material on an exposure stage, which is moving in a direction opposite to a scanning direction, are read by a CCD camera mounted at a support gate, after which an imaging region, whose position is judged using the alignment marks, is exposed by a laser beam from a laser scanner. Here, a distance along the scanning direction from the CCD camera to the laser scanner is not less than a pitch of the alignment marks that are provided to respectively correspond to a trailing end and a leading end of the imaging region. According to this laser exposure device, even in a case in which a plurality of the imaging region is provided at a recording medium, an increase in a duration for forming images on the recording medium in accordance with an increase in imaging regions is prevented.

  • Patent number: 7052434
Abstract: A vehicle engine is coupled to a driving system that includes a torque converter and an automatic transmission. An ECU sets a target value of an opening degree of a throttle valve based on a depression degree of an acceleration pedal. The ECU changes the throttle opening degree at a predetermined gradual change speed such that the throttle opening degree reaches the set target value. The ECU limits the gradual change speed of the throttle opening degree for a predetermined period such that a changing speed of the engine speed is suppressed at a reverse time when a direction of torque transmitted between the driving system and the engine is reversed. As a result, shock produced when the direction of torque between the driving system and the engine is switched is suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20050289634
Abstract: Illegal use of a playlist can be prevented. A laboratory generates a playlist and encodes the playlist with a public key. The encoded playlist is recorded in a DVD. When a user carries out reproduction using the playlist on a personal computer, the personal computer compares token information thereof and token information included in an access ticket issued by an access ticket issuing center according to the token information of the personal computer. The personal computer carries out the reproduction by decoding the playlist with the private key in the access ticket only in the case where the token information thereof agrees with the token information in the access ticket.

  • Publication number: 20040112335

  • Patent number: 6732689
Abstract: A valve timing control apparatus for an engine. Presence/absence of a torque demand (xtq) is estimated upon starting of a lock pin release control to thereby alter a change rate (&bgr;) of a target phase angle in dependence on presence/absence of the torque demand (xtq). Unless torque demand is issued, the change rate is set to a small value (&bgr;2) for suppressing the change of the target phase angle (&thgr;t) after detection of release of the lock pin in order to avoid a shock unexpected by a driver. When the torque demand is issued, the change rate is set to a large value (&bgr;1) for allowing the target phase angle to approach speedily to a base target phase angle (&thgr;map) for thereby minimizing a delay in response involved in the phase angle detection through the lock pin release control.
