  • Patent number: 6499200
Abstract: The present invention intends to provide a zipper pull of a slider for slide fastener formed of- resilient body on which no unreasonable force is applied when the fastener is opened or closed and which is always kept in a stabilized condition that it is urged to be fallen onto a slider body without swinging freely. A yoke which is a zipper pull mounting portion is mounted on a top face of a slider body. A half-annular shaped zipper pull formed of resilient body is fixed to lateral bars at front and rear ends of a rectangular connecting body longer than the slide body. A lateral bar is provided in the center of the connecting body and inserted through an automatic locking pawl lever incorporated in the yoke. Neck portions are provided in the vicinity of a fixing portion at the front and rear ends so that the zipper pull is elastically deformable easily. A grip portion is provided at a position apart from the fixing portion so that the zipper pull is easy to grip.

  • Patent number: 6497017
Abstract: The present invention provides a slider with locking device, in which a leaf spring with a locking pawl can be mounted easily on a slider body by press processing. A protruded piece is provided on a rear portion of an upper plate of a slider body and a pawl hole is made near the base portion of the protruded piece. Then, another protruded piece is formed on a front portion of the upper plate and a contact portion is formed on that protruded piece so that an engaging tongue piece of a leaf spring is in contact with the same protruded piece. A groove with an engaged portion is provided in a front face of a guide post of the slider body. The leaf spring is formed in the shape of a substantially fallen letter U and has a locking pawl at one end and a drooping piece at the other end. The drooping piece is provided with an engaging portion which is to be engaged with an engaged portion and the engaging tongue piece is formed in the center of the leaf spring.

  • Publication number: 20020152591
Abstract: It relates to a slider for slider fastener with locking device where a sheet-like spring having a locking pawl at one end is fixed at the other end on a body. A bent portion of a spring portion of the fixed spring is exposed at a guide post, and a pull is mounted between the body and the spring so as to be raised or laid. A cam is provided on a lower face of an axle of the pull, and the axle slides on an inclined guide portion on the body. When the pull is laid forward of the body, a gap is formed between an edge of a through hole of a grip portion of the pull and the bent portion of the spring. Even if a load is applied to the pull in the horizontal direction or the vertical direction, this gap prevents the spring from plastic deformation, so that the spring is never plastically deformed under any use condition, thereby ensuring an excellent locking function.

  • Publication number: 20020038496
Abstract: The invention provides a slider, which can be closed easily without a separation of a chain even if a lateral pulling load is applied to the fastener chain when the linear fastener chain is closed with the slider. An element pressing face, which is in contact with an inverted portion of a linear slide fastener element and putting it thereon, is provided along an inner side face of a flange formed on each of both right and left sides of an upper wing plate or a lower wing plate of the slider. A slope is formed on the pressing face from a front end thereof up to a vicinity of a bent portion of the flange such that it intersects an inner face of the upper or lower wing plates. A vertical wall is provided from the bent portion to a rear mouth so as to be erected from the upper or lower wing plates. The pressing face is formed on the vertical wall so that the inverted portion can be guided.

  • Patent number: 6124852
Abstract: Two kinds of alternation signals, that is, an alternation signal for odd-numbered electrodes and an alternation signal for even-numbered electrodes, are input to an SEG driver. In accordance with those signals, the SEG driver reverses, at different timings, the polarity of SEG drive signals which are output to odd-numbered signal electrodes and the polarity of SEG drive signals which are output to even-numbered signal electrodes. As a result, spikes are generated before and after the timing of a polarity reversal of an alternation control signal which is input to a COM driver. Further, the SEG driver reverses, at the same timing and in different directions, the polarity of the SEG drive signals which are output to the odd-numbered signal electrodes and the polarity of the SEG drive signals which are output to the even-numbered signal electrodes. By so doing, the crosstalk due to the spikes is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5956819
Abstract: A concealed slide fastener slider comprises: a slider body having a guide post on which an attachment lug stands; a resilient locking lever attached at one end to the attachment lug and having at the other end a locking pawl retractably inserted into an element guide channel of the slider body; a clamp having an aperture and a central bent portion bent in an inverted L shape so that the clamp can fall flat to a rear side of the slider body; and a pull tab loosely threaded through the aperture. When a cloth is jammed between the slider body and the clamp, only a front part of the clamp assumes an upright posture but a rear part of the clamp to which the pull tab is attached assumes a horizontal posture, thus causing the pull tab to rest on the cloth.

  • Patent number: 5263010
Abstract: An information reproducing system plays back a group of recording mediums each having recording information to be reproduced and TOC information with respect to the recorded information, so that the recorded information of the recording mediums can be reproduced according to the TOC Information. The TOC information of the recording mediums before the recording mediums are played back, playback operation of the recording mediums is controlled based on the read TOC information. Since it is not necessary to read TOC information each time a recording medium is replaced or a group of recording mediums is replaced, the recording mediums can smoothly be played back.

  • Patent number: 5195066
Abstract: When information to be registered is produced with respect to a new group of recording mediums, such new information is shifted and stored successively in old storage areas of a memory. Therefore, the information can be stored in the memory on a time-series bases. The times at which the information is registered can easily be determined without relying on any counter or the like. When the registered information of the recording mediums which is stored in the memory is to be used again, registered information which is newer than the registered information to be used again is shifted successively into the old storage areas, and the registered information to be used again is transferred to a newest storage area. The registered information can be stored in the order of frequency of use, and registered information which is of higher frequency of use can be stored in a newer storage area.

  • Patent number: 5113383
Abstract: Table of contents (TOC) information is read before a plurality of recording mediums, such as compact disks, each having recorded information to be reproduced and TOC information, with respect to the recorded information are played back. Playback operation of the recording mediums is controlled based on the read TOC information. Programmed information which indicates a sequence according to which the recorded information of the recorded mediums is to be reproduced is read from a programmed information memory based on the result of checking of the recording mediums. The playback operation of the recording medium is controlled by a playback control unit based on the programmed information thus read. The playback operation can immediately be controlled based on the stored programmed information.

  • Patent number: 5051971
Abstract: Program editing method and apparatus for an information recording medium playing apparatus for playing an information recording medium carrying a plurality of music pieces and playing time information representing a playing time required for playing each of the plurality of music pieces. The plurality of music pieces are selected in order and a computing process is executed for adding up the playing time of each of the selected music pieces. Then, a provisional combination is produced by editing the selected music pieces excluding one of the selected musical programs when the total playing time obtained by the computing process exceeds a time period previously designated. Furthermore, a combination whose total playing time is the nearest to but shorter than the designated time period is derived by alternately replacing each of the music pieces in the provisional combination with each of music pieces other than the music pieces in the provisional combination.

  • Patent number: 4916559
Abstract: A data reproducing method in which abrupt sound transitions as the end of a recorded tape is reached are eliminated. A predetermined time period corresponding to the length of the tape is inputted, and a time instant earlier by a predetermined period of time than the end of the time period at which the end of the tape is encountered is calculated. While plural pieces of music are being reproduced in a specified order for recording on the tape, a sum of the total time from the start of reproduction is iteratively calculated. When the sum reaches the calculated period of time, the total output level is gradually reduced to zero.
