  • Publication number: 20150235008
Abstract: A combination group includes combinations of elements belonging to items. When an attention location in a medical image is designated, two or more elements corresponding to the attention location and belonging to the first item are identified. When one of the two or more elements is designated, two or more elements belonging to a second item and included in one or more combinations of elements included in the combination group and corresponding to the designated one element are displayed to be distinguishable from the other elements. When one or more of the two or more displayed elements are designated, one or more elements belonging to a third item and included in at least one combination of elements included in the combination group and corresponding to a combination of the one designated element and each of the one or more designated elements are displayed to be distinguishable from the other elements.

  • Publication number: 20150220688
Abstract: An information processing system includes a storage, a designation unit, an extraction unit, and an output controller. The storage stores a plurality of element combinations in each of which elements belonging to two or more of a plurality of items concerning a current state of a patient are associated, and explanation information pieces each to be presented to a patient associated with a corresponding one of the element combinations and/or a person relevant to the patient. The designation unit designates, in response to a signal according to a user action, a combination of elements belonging to two or more of the plurality of items. The extraction unit extracts, from the explanation information pieces stored in the storage, an explanation information piece corresponding to the combination designated by the designation unit. The output controller causes an output unit to output the explanation information piece extracted by the extraction unit.

  • Patent number: 9053168
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a technique enabling an information added by another user to be referenced and enabling the range of the information the user references from a database to be customized. A related information database in which a plurality of elements are accumulated is prepared, and an output setting information in which an information relating to the output of an additional information is associated with each other, in response to the additional writing of the additional information by a certain user to the related information database is stored. The output setting information of the certain user can be changed by the user. A portion of information is extracted from the related information database in accordance with an input of an extraction condition by the user, and the portion of information is visually output according to information relating to the output of the user.

  • Publication number: 20140257856
Abstract: First information includes a plurality of pieces of combination information each indicating a combination of elements over a plurality of items each related to a state of a person, and a plurality of pieces of health information each associated with combination information. A numerical value is acquired for at least one numerical value item, and an element is acquired for at least one different item. Second information in which a plurality of elements indicating a plurality of ranges belong to each numerical value item is referenced, and an element indicating a range to which the acquired numerical value belongs is recognized for each numerical value item. The health information corresponding to a combination of one or more elements acquired for one or more different items and an element indicating one or more ranges recognized for one or more numerical value items is detected from the first information and visually output.

  • Patent number: 8589420
Abstract: In a medical information system, with respect to a plurality of kinds of medical databases, a plurality of search items included in a search query inputted by a user are sorted in accordance with search divisions, and thereby divided into a finding report search query and a specimen test query. By using these queries, the corresponding databases are searched independently, and individual search results obtained therefrom are combined to generate a combined search result. The individual search result is assigned with an individual score in accordance with the matching degree with the search item. In combining the individual search results, a relevancy score is assigned. The search results are ranked and combined in descending order of the scores. This requires only one issuance of a search execution order without the need to perform a search operation a plurality of times, in order to obtain a desired search result.

  • Patent number: 8521561
Abstract: In a plurality of pieces of single report structured data that is stored in a structured database in a diagnosis information database, character information constructing a radiological report describing detailed information of image data is added as metadata for search to the image data. For example, only by designating image data to be read as image (retrieval reference image) data as a reference of retrieval by a reading physician as the user during radiological operation, the character information already added to the retrieval reference image data is set as a keyword. By a keyword search using the metadata, data of a similar image and a related report of the retrieval reference image data are detected from the structured DB.

  • Patent number: 8510125
Abstract: A disease-symptom-combination DB storing information obtained by combining each of disease name elements indicative of diseases with one or more symptom elements each indicative of a symptom, and a disease-care-combination DB storing information obtained by combining each of the disease name elements with a plurality of care elements each indicative of a care are stored in a storing unit. A server control unit recognizes one or more symptom elements from the symptom information and detects one disease name element combined with all of the symptom elements from the disease-symptom-combination DB. Further, a plurality of care elements combined with the one disease name element are detected from the disease-care-combination DB. Disease care information obtained by combining the one disease name element with the plurality of care elements is generated and visibly output in a display unit.

  • Patent number: 8332398
Abstract: The present invention provides a database system capable of dealing with dynamic changes in an event that vary continuously with time. A database system outputs a retrieval output from data in response to a user's retrieval request on the basis of a retrieval logic. The retrieval logic is allowed to evolve on the basis of a logical model. This logical model establishes a general relationship which leads results from conditions relating to a group of events that are dealt by a data group. Moreover, a database system optimizes a data structure on the basis of the logical model. The logical model can be transferred in a separated manner from the specific data contents of the data group. Therefore, the logical model can be exported to another database system of the same kind, and also imported from another data base system of the same kind.

  • Patent number: 8301460
Abstract: Associated information is prepared and stored in a support information DB, the information being such that elements belonging to a plurality of element items respectively forming medical information on at least one patient are associated with each other between the items. Then, on a medical-support-information presenting screen displayed at a display unit, a selecting condition selecting one or more elements and an output target item are specified and input in response to user control. As a result, with respect to information that satisfies the selecting condition out of the associated information, the display unit visibly outputs statistical information about the output target item.

  • Patent number: 7676381
Abstract: The present invention provides a medical support system capable of properly supporting entry of medical information by a medical professional. A medical support system stores, as medical data, first medical information entered by a medical professional as an operator, and second medical information entered without direct intervention of the medical professional. Further, the medical support system generates and outputs support information for supporting entry of the first medical information by the medical professional. In the medical support system, the support information is generated on the basis of the first medical information and second medical information being entered. Therefore, in the medical support system, when the first medical information and second medical information being entered changes, the support information to be generated also changes.

  • Patent number: 7672959
Abstract: The present invention provides an update detecting apparatus capable of properly extracting an important update. The update detecting apparatus includes a difference extracting unit, a morphological analyzing unit, and an update determining unit. The difference extracting unit extracts the difference between text data included in a server-side file and text data included in a cache file. The morphological analyzing unit divides the difference extracted by the difference extracting unit into words (morphemes) and generates a word group. The update determining unit determines that an update is performed in the server-side file when a word satisfying a predetermined condition is included in the word group generated by the morphological analyzing unit.
