Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive element comprising a support having thereon at least one interlayer which comprises a solution prepared by dissolving at least one hydrophobic compound, which acts as an ultraviolet ray-absorbing agent, represented by the following general formula (I) in an alkyl phosphoric acid ester represented by the following general formula (III) dispersed in a gelatin-containing hydrophilic colloid which does not contain any dye image-forming agents, in which element color stain resulting from exposure to light is effectively suppressed: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.

Abstract: A photographic two-equivalent magenta coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein (A) represents a residue of a magenta color image-forming coupler in which one of the hydrogen atoms in the coupling position is eliminated; Q represents an oxygen atom or NH group; and B represents the non-metallic atoms necessary to form a 5-membered or a 6-membered ring containing the nitrogen atom and the ##STR2## group. Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer on said support, wherein at least one of said emulsion layers contains a hydrophobic phenol type or naphthol type cyan dye forming coupler and at least one coupler solvent represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represent a branched chain alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms and may be the same or different provided that the sum total of carbon atoms in the molecule is 24 to 40.

Abstract: A process for preparing a 3-N-mono-substituted amino-4-substituted-5-pyrazolone which comprises replacing the hydrogen atom of the NH group at the 3-position of a 3-mono-substituted-5-pyrazolone with a protective group, halogenating the resulting compound to introduce a halogen atom into the 4-position, reacting the resulting compound with a 5- or 6-member heterocyclic compound containing two or more nitrogen atoms to replace the halogen atom at the 4-position with a nitrogen containing heterocyclic group, and hydrolyzing the resulting compound to remove the protective group.

Abstract: A two-equivalent color photographic coupler having advantageous properties and capable of forming a magenta color image upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, in which the carbon atom at the coupling position of the coupler is bonded to the nitrogen atom at the 1- or 4-position of a 1,2,4-triazole ring; a color photographic light-sensitive material containing the above-mentioned color photographic coupler and a method of forming a color image comprising developing an image-wise exposed photographic light-sensitive material in the presence of the above-described color photographic coupler are also described.

Abstract: A color photographic material comprising a support having photographic layers thereon, with at least one of the photographic layers containing a non-diffusible colored coupler which releases, on coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a primary aromatic amino developing agent at development, a diffusible dye capable of being removed from the photographic layer, the non-diffusible colored coupler being represented by general formula (I):a--o--so.sub.2 --r--b (i)wherein R represents an alkylene group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; A represents an image forming coupler residue containing a phenol nucleus or a naphthol nucleus, and wherein the --O--SO.sub.2 --R--B group is bonded to the coupling position of the coupler residue and the group can be released upon oxidative coupling with an aromatic primary amine developing agent to form a dye; and B represents a residue containing a chromophore.
