  • Publication number: 20080146461
Abstract: A method to make libraries of hybrid polynucleotide molecules of two parental polynucleotide molecules utilizing single-stranded DNA was invented. Example of the method comprises several steps: (i) preparation of two single-stranded polynucleotide molecules comprising sequences containing one or more parts of homology and one or more parts of heterology, (ii) random or non-random fragmentation of said polynucleotides, (iii) hybridization of the fragmented molecules followed by de novo polynucleotide synthesis (i.e. polynucleotide chain elongation) on the hybridized molecules, (iv) separation of the chain elongation products (i.e. double-stranded polynucleotide molecules) into single-stranded polynucleotide molecules (denaturation) (v) hybridization of the resultant single-stranded polynucleotide molecules followed by de novo polynucleotide synthesis on the hybridized molecules, and (vi) repeating at least two further cycles of steps (iv) and (v).

  • Publication number: 20070112466
Abstract: This invention of the position/force control device intends to improve response performance in high frequency band and to ensure realization of a delicate work. A position detector is provided each on a master 1 side and on a slave 3 side, respectively, and reaction force estimation observers 2 and 4 estimate reaction force undergone by the operation part of the master side and reaction force undergone by the object of the slave side on the basis of outputs of the position detectors. The position control part 5 generates acceleration signals apm, aps for controlling positions on the master side and on the slave side on the basis of the position signals outputted by the position detectors of the master side and of the slave side. The operation force control part 6 generates acceleration signals afm, afs for controlling forces applied to the master side and to the slave side based upon the outputs from reaction force estimation observers 2 and 4.

  • Patent number: 4748361
Abstract: An electric motor includes a housing, a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes a rotor shaft rotatably supported on the housing. The rotor includes a plurality of disk portions disposed on the rotor shaft coaxially therewith and spaced from each other axially of the rotor shaft. Each of the disk portions has a thickness gradually decreasing radially outwardly thereof. The stator includes a plurality of annular portions disposed on the housing coaxially with the rotor shaft and spaced from each other axially of the rotor shaft. Each of the annular portions has a thickness gradually decreasing radially inwardly thereof. The annular portions and the disk portions are loosely fitted with each other with a gap formed therebetween. Opposed side surfaces of the annular portion and disk portion are conical. Each of the annular portions has a coil disposed in each conical side surface thereof. Each of the disk portions has permanent magnets disposed at least in each conical side surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 4509003
Abstract: In a vector control method and system for an induction motor, the decoupling calculation and 2-3 phase transformation are combined to simplify the system configuration, and the plus and minus signs of trigonometric signals are changed according to the rotational direction to enable four-quadrant operation. Further, in the case of a 3-phase induction motor driven by a PWM inverter, the number of the triangular (carrier) wave signals generated during one period of the power supply signal is increased with decreasing frequency of the supply voltage signal to improve the response characteristics when the motor is rotating at a low speed.
